TAW is currently looking to fill some roster spots on its existing raid teams and start up a new group. Most of our current raiders can swap to any role so any role is welcome. The two groups that we have run on Tue/Thur at 8pm est and the other on Wed at 8:30pm est. We also have open raid nights on Saturdays. The new group is open to times and leadership at this time. About TAW TAW is a casual multi-gaming Community that was founded out of great leadership in 2001 to continue playing with friends despite switching games. And so our Community was born. We continue to foster a casual atmosphere among our guilds/clans among 30+ games featuring over 2500 active members. In SWTOR we have an Imp guild "Taw Empire" as well as an equally active "Taw Republic". We welcome all people with a sense of humor, and offer an environment for you to fit into easily. We have a large PVE presence as well as a growing PVP presence. With countless alts, open raids, Flash-points, and all night PVP matches, as well as raid groups, there is something in TAW for all your gaming needs. Highlights of TAW: Extremely active Team speak server across several games. Excellent website that has been integrated into team speak Tons of information on all aspects of SWTOR Acceptance to any of our Guilds on any game High end raiding Team PVE Recruitment We currently run 8 Man Ops, and do so with three scheduled raid groups running content from SM-NiM. While we have some needs for raiding we do accept any experienced and or quality raiders. We do pride ourselves on training new raiders and continually form new raid groups for new members/players to SWTOR to gain experience in SM's. If it is not a scheduled raid night an open raid is formed and is used to teach/gear anyone who needs either. We never tell a member you cannot come or you’re not geared enough for open raids, and we take pride in gearing our people and turning them into a quality raider at their own pace. PVP Recruitment We also have a rapidly growing PVP base. PVPers are not expected to raid and often time people do both. Our PVP is currently not scheduled and is currently done whenever two or more are interested, often resulting in all night PVP chain matches. There are no current requirements for PVP – however once a schedule is put in place for dedicated ranked teams requirements for those teams will be put in place. However no one will ever be told you can't PVP with us in regular PVP. Guild Absorption SWTOR like any MMO has seen several issues that have left many guilds all but memories of what they once were. The mass exodus of players, the need for server mergers (again) some guilds just can’t continue with a fraction of their numbers. If this is your guild or are a member of one of these guilds, we do offer absorption; to become part of a guild with active members again. All Raiders and PVPers will instantly be added to a team where you will feel like a valued part of our community where you will share all the benefits mentioned above. Our end of summer recruitment drive has just ended as a success given the summer lows. We have had several new recruits and some valuable members have made it to private first class. :The winners for the most people recruited was a tie between Evafat and Raulen who both received 500,000 credits. :The winners for the most recruits that made it to private first class was an astounding 3 way tie between Raulen, Evafat, and Jaydabrooke. The three will have a roll off to determine who wins the coveted Gold armor piece. :The TAW community just had its quarterly voluntary meeting where our own Becmacde won one of six prizes worth $40 in the TAW shop, where he custom designed a pretty epic shirt. This has been the fun update for Taw in July. Please look into joining TAW to participate in the fun.
