  1. Weeeell. Any moddable item is clearly labelled "Ctrl+right click to modify." There you go.
  2. There are those faction-specific clubs. Don't know what Empire's is called, but Republic has Club Vertico. It's a massive cantina/casino with... absolutely nothing to do! I imagine the developers intend to add something to the place eventually. Hopefully. It has NPCs playing DDR. Make. That. A. Minigame!
  3. There are some players (such as I) who love to explore every nook and cranny, and discover every codex entry and datacron. However, some codex entries such as the entry on Sullustans are only available once in a single class mission phase. As a smuggler, I was upset to learn that I missed out on obtaining the Sullustan codex entry on Coruscant, and that other classes are not even able to obtain this codex entry even though there is a spot for it in the codex. In the future, will there be way for everyone to get codex entries that they may have accidentally missed out on?
  4. They've already let in more players than any other MMO headstart in history. We've known it's going to be a staggered launch for a long time. At the current rate, I don't estimate to get in until tomorrow afternoonish, but I'm not complaining.
  5. You are Iziz, capital of Onderon. I am a member of a genetically modified race of my species. Through the circumstances of my birth, I contain the DNA of a powerful Jedi Master alive during the Sith Wars. My face and arms are tattooed with permanent reminders of my unpleasant past.
  6. Only the Lethan and Rutian races of Twi'lek have been named in-canon. Pink and Purple are also considered part of the Lethan race in addition to Red. All shades of Blue are Rutian. The other races of Twi'lek don't have canon names yet.
  7. Thanks a lot for your input! I'll probably play some PvP occasionally, but I'll mostly be focussing on PvE. I totally forgot about Leg Shot too. I can see how Shock Charge, Sabotage, and then Cool Under Pressure would be a lot more useful than Cover Screen (but that's 20% ranged defence for 6 seconds, not 6% ranged defence).
  8. What do people think of my Gunslinger Saboteur build? While I like Charged Burst, I don't think it's as useful on a Saboteur as on a Sharpshooter, so I don't have Hot Pursuit or Pandemonium. I don't have Cool Under Pressure because healing 6% of your total health over 3 seconds just doesn't seem extremely useful to me. This is my first MMO, so correct me if I'm wrong. I chose Cover Screen, Riot Screen, and Hotwired Defences to increase my survivability, and No Holds Barred and Sharpshooter for obvious reasons. I'm wondering how much 4% alacrity is worth though. 4% faster casting time hardly sounds noticeable to me. Is it one of those skills for intense PvPers? Should I take points out of anything for Black Market Mods? http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/smuggler/gunslinger/#::f8ef25ef2efefe2f2e14 That's my build.
  9. I probably won't get in until tomorrow since I preordered on August 2nd, but I'm really looking forward to playing my Saboteur Gunslinger Cybertechnician. Or as I like to call him, the Boomslinger. Sabotage and shock charges; flash, thermal, and incendiary grenades; and eventually the awesome multi-use Cybertech explosives that will be my ultimate goal to craft. KABLOWEY!
  10. I also preordered August 2nd. I would have preordered on the first or second day, but I was in another country at the time and didn't find out about preorders starting until I returned home. I would trade my precious vacation memories for just an extra few hours of SWTOR! (Not really)
  11. I would very much to replace the word troll with rancor, for the Star Wars feel xD They are the Star Wars version of trolls after all. Bantha Poodoo is way too family friendly of a Star Wars expletive though. Kark and schutta are for when you want to express a greater amount of rage.
  12. I leveled to 24 as a Seer in Beta. I have to say, it wasn't difficult at all. In heroics and flashpoints you'll definitely need to take on the healing role, but in most normal quests you won't need to heal extremely often, and you'll be able to do a decent amount of damage. Every point you put into the Seer tree makes your Presence stat better, which increases healing and your companion's effectiveness. So if you intend to level as a Seer, you will require a companion with you when playing solo to be effective. So, I'd actually say 10/10. Unlike a DPS spec, you have the ability to heal your companion and yourself, really increasing your survivability to make up for the extra damage you won't be doing. I might even say 11/10
