  1. If you try to subscribe through steam it will take your money, but the game time will not be applied to your account. The cause (EA/Origin accounts will become deactivated after inactivity. This time ranges from 1 to 2 years) Inactive accounts will not automatically apply game-time from Steam to SWTOR. By contacting EA customer support - https://help.ea.com/en/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support/ you can reactivate your EA account and after 24 to 48 hours the time will be reflected on your SWTOR account. The EA Customer Service agent may request you send screenshots of your Steam Profile before they can add the game time. SUGGESTION - Since this should be a fairly common issue (which I feel could be verified by checking Customer Support Ticket types) Maybe it would be best to make a PINNED TOPIC on this in the forums and suggest people use https://account.swtor.com/en/account/subscriptions for subbing to the game instead of Steam's service. Final thoughts: I was hesitant to send screenshots of my Steam Profile to verify that I bought game time... surely this isn't the most professional way of having people pay for game time. I know the inactive EA account behind the scenes was causing the issue. But nothing feels worse than paying for something and then having to google customer support number, call, send screenshots and then WAIT to play. /rant
  2. I vote leave it the way it is. I would never ignore someone for asking questions in a flashpoint... thats nutts. I do however do legacy ignore a ton of credit spammers and people who (for example) spam referral link offers. And as far as I am concerned those people can stay on my ignore list. I always wait a few weeks and clear out my ignore list anyway, giving people 2nd, 3rd, and 4th or w/e chances.
  3. First, there is a thread already existing about this. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=649293 Secondly Nibbon, although I really appreciate all the wonderful advice you have given about Sage/Sorc in the past: I cannot help but disagree with you on this. Here are my reasons why it is more "game-breaking" then some people think: #1. It costs you much more than a GCD - You lose the hardcast on TKW/CL, you lose the Proc (if you try to stopcast and eat the proc after you get instant bugged), it also messes with your rotation and causes you to have move (sometimes out of range of your target). #2. While there are few PvE situations where you would want to hardcast TKW/CL, there are many times I find myself using it in PvP. When you are snared (and there are a LOT of snares that go out in pvp) you cannot move. Thus you not only have zero dps... but you have no way to escape as this renders your CC and forcespeed useless. #3. It is a bug that EVERY SINGLE sage/sorc in the game encounters / can encounter in normal combat situations. #4. It makes hardcasting TKW/CL tricky at best. #5. It makes anticipating proc for TKW/CL nearly impossible / too risky (no reward for pvp situations where necessary).
  4. Ty for the tips, I made some major gear changes... just wanted to add I have full set bonus I just don't know how to add that on AskMrRobot. Also for my opener i use FP with Mindcrush then a Disturbance because Turbulence will be an autocrit just after and if I cast it first (just after weaken mind) I usually pull threat off the boss as it will often hit for 8500 + weaken mind tick. So my modified opener looks something like this: Buffs Mindcrush (auto crit) Disturbance (auto crit) Weaken Mind Turbulence (auto crit)
  5. Hi all, time to pick apart my sage. I have hit a wall (and not in a good place.) In TK spec I am pulling about 2350 (buffs and stim) http://www.torparse.com/a/290510 With an armor debuff AND adrenals I can get that to 2600 - 2800 (depending on where you chop the parse). Let us call it a solid 2600. http://www.torparse.com/a/290586 Which for all practical reasons is far below where I should be. First let us look at my gear: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/85cd2df9-d9ad-4faf-83f5-05c02234e46b As you will see I have a mixture of gear, fully purple augmented. Stats stand as follows: Bonus Damage 1439.4 Bonus Healing 1037.3 Accuracy 110.23% Critical Chance 20.46% Critical Multiplier 61.35% Force Regen Rate 8.0 / s Activation Speed 4.25% Power 1198.0 Accuracy 453.0 Alacrity 158.0 Crit 0.0 Surge 151 Strength 155.4 Presence 480.0 Aim 98.7 Cunning 98.7 Endurance 3044.0 Willpower 3243.4 That is with Prototype Nano-Infused Resolve Stim and all class buffs active. Rotation: Using TK rotation I apply weaken mind on target, then I pop my Boundless Ages relic, Mental Alacrity, Force Potency with my opener. Then I cast Mind Crush + 1x Disturbance (to consume the 2 force pots). From there its simple priority: Weaken Mind on target at all times Turbulence / Mind Crush (on cooldown) Telekinetic Wave (if proc is up) Telekinetic Throw (if proc is up) Disturbance (if above are on cooldown + WM is still on target) I do not think I am missing anything obvious, although I cannot seem to get my DPS up to where I feel comfortable with it. I have seen members of my guild pulling a solid 3,000 dps on target dummy (other classes) and less geared sages using TK pulling a solid 2700 without armor debuffs on target. Any and ALL suggestions would be a great help thank you.
  6. Guy has 4 straight parses at 2300 then all of a sudden it jumps to 3K? I'm no expert but that seems suspicious to me.

  8. Me too, I hope they fix it quickly. I now notice it about 10 times a raid. However I know what to look for now and quickly correct it.
  9. no actually because the proc may come late (within a GCD or just after) the sort-of solution is to not hardcast TKW/CL unless you see the proc... or else if you see the proc after a hardcast know that you must move immediately. Hardly ideal I know...
  10. After reviewing the video source again, I would agree. That seems to be the case. I still stand my assumption that abilities do not work properly for a short period of time after this bug. I will attempt to replicate some of the things I have seen in the past. Thank you for reviewing the video!
  11. Hi all, finally chased down what was rendering all abilities unusable in the TK or Lightning tree. Video explains.

  13. I love this thread but I can't help but wonder... what if you play a Republic class. You would REALLY be scratching your head trying to figure out everything he is talking about. Would it not be better to have 2 versions of this (one for republic and one for sith) or at the very least list both names of the ability/attacks? EDIT --- Just saw the 2nd link for Sage... TY SO MUCH!
