  1. I don't like it. The controls for it are really chunky and hard to use. It was waste of money to actually subscribe for this. O well no worries. I dont have time to explain in more details. I will later.
  2. As much as I hate saying this I'm really disappointed. The controls for space combat are chunky and makes flying very difficult. I don't know how to really explain other then following you're gun sight makes flying very difficult. The Targeting system in the game is completely crap as well. In short I really don't like it Galactic Starfighter. I think it needs a lot more improvements before it's worth while. I wish I hadn't subscribed it just wasn't worth the money.
  3. lol I was just thinking the same thing. I can just picture it now Vader and Luke facing off and just as Vader dies we here Luke say "There can be only one!"
  4. Im not using common names. Heck I even did one called Sythen'a and it was all ready taken. I mean why not allow use to have same first name but not same last names just like in real life. It stupid that I have to take some retarded name I hate because nothing pass the name check.
  5. So I guess I can't create a new character cause every single name is taken. I mean coming up with off the wall crap. Whats the point in having surnames if we can't get a first name.
  6. No it's not. It's 6 months between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
  7. This is going to take a bit to explain on how I see. In Ep 3 I don't believe Anakin was completely Vader till he found out that Padma was dead. At that point he stop being Anakin and became Darth Vader. I don't believe he suffered the same fate as most sith which was quest for more power because he no longer cared. I think this was what the Emperor wanted all along. It gave him a student that would not betray him. Now reason for why he so different between ep 3 - 4 is because there a twenty year gap between the two movies. He wasn't the same person he was in Ep 3 or even at the end of ep 3. As to why he obeyed Tarkin who says he listen to Tarkin at all. I mean close thing we get to him following an order was when Tarkin told him to release that guy. To me he did it more because he got his point across. Also Tarkin was in command and took his orders from Emperor and had the full backing of the Emperor. So by following Tarkin order he was also following Emperor orders. When you get to empire Vader learned he had a son it re awoke the part of himself that was Anakin Skywalker. In fact if you watch he pretty much picks up right where he left off with Padma. I mean he sitting there telling her he can kill the Emperor and they can rule the galaxy together; it's the same exact thing he was pushing on Luke at the end of Empire Strikes Back. Basically finding out he had a son re awoke the passionate part of Anakin. Then when you get to Return of the Jedi Luke basically forces him to take a hardcore look at himself. So did Vader ever go to Lightside, because Vader didn't care about anything or any one other then serving the emperor. At least not until he learned of his son.
  8. I would say unknown it could go either way. I think if he is popular enough he could pop back up. And yes the show is full of lore. They add more depth to the clone wars that wasn't there due to lack of time. I like the ep where padwans go and construct there first lightsaber. I thought that was awesome. I'd love to see an ep where we get to see Anakin and Ahsoka get there lightsabers for the first time. Also would be cool to hear how Yoda go his as well. May they could do a stranded ep with Anakin, Yoda, Ahsoka taking some padwans to get there lightsaber crystals and they recount.
  9. Much of the flaws that Luke had were shown in EP 5 and they come through again in ep 6. The reason Yoda said he that he wasn't a Jedi till he faced Vader did not mean he had to defeat Vader or the Emperor. Yoda meant that Luke had to face Vader and not fall to the darkside. If you have never read Return of the Jedi book I highly recommend you do so. The funny thing about the final battle between Luke, Vader and Emperor is that it is more of an internal battle then an external battle. Emperor was loosing his grasp on Vader and he was afraid of Vader. Vader was question himself and whether he could go back to who he once was or was he doomed forever to be the monster he had become. Luke was facing his own inner demons, the very flaws that Yoda showed and told him about in Ep 5. Each time Emperor use Luke own demons and inner struggles against him Luke realize his mistake and takes a different course of action. When he finally attacked Vader after his goading him about turn his sister to the darkside Luke did give in to his anger and hate. However as he stood over Vader and he was being goaded by emperor to kill Vader and take his place he realize that his battle was not with them. The only way he could over come evil his not to given to it. He had to first admit to himself that he was no better then they were. Then he was able to realize that only by not accepting it by letting all his anger, hate go could he truly defeat evil. The funny part of it was that Luke really thought that Yoda was telling him only by defeating Vader would he be a Jedi. What Yoda really meant was only by facing Vader win or loose and not going to the Darkside a Jedi would he be. The fight is an internal fight not an external one. Most fans believe Empire to be the Dark of the original films and I disagree completely. I think it is more tragic then it was dark. If you're father is a killer that sucks it's tragic and yes dark to some degree. However to look in you're self and see the darkness with in you're self, to see all the flaws and bad things that are in you, that you have done or could do and face it and over come it or fall prey to it is probably the darkest thing you can ever do. Think about it as hard as it is for a family to face there loved one who is on drugs it's a thousand times harder for the person on drugs to looking inside themselves and admit they have a problem and then to go through hell to over come it. That my friend is when you really face true darkness.
  10. The reason Lucas won't release Yoda species has nothing to do with him trying to make the character more of a mystery. The reason that Lucas keeps certain aspects of Star Wars (such as Yoda and his species) carefully guarded and won't let any one touch them is because he wants to be the one to explore those aspects of those characters if he choose to. A few years after EP 3 there were talks that Lucas and Spielberg were going to make another star wars trilogy and Lucas was seriously considering it. He said if he did it would revolve around Yoda when he was much younger. Nothing came of it but there is that chance he might want to do something down the road. So he leaves himself content to work with. Also Lucas has made sure no one can ever snag up the rights to Star Wars. When he dies it will stay in the hands of the company that he built. I am glad he did to because if you guys think EP 1-3 are bad (which I am not one of those I love them) it will be far worse if it ends up in some one else hands. Knowing Hollywood they would try and remake all the movies or do something really stupid. For all the complain that fans do over the changes that Lucas makes Lucas has been really good to the fans by allowing Books, Video games, Comics to expand the Star Wars Universe even though it's not his vision of Star Wars. In all honesty Lucas could have gone on to be come a big time director like Spielberg. However to make sure that Star Wars wasn't taken and fubared he became the very thing he did not want to become. He sacrificed his film career to insure that Star Wars would never be remade or taken and ruined by remakes and just sequels just to make sequels. Any way back to topic at hand at the end of the day Yoda species is a mystery because Lucas wants to keep it that way in case he choose to make more movies. I don't think we seen the last of a Star Wars movies. I believe at some point Lucas will do more but not for a good long while. Though if he does do movies it will probably disregard the books, comics and video games. However only time will tell.
  11. Actually it does matter. You can't look at the creator and tell the creator and say that his views on how powerful his characters are don't matter. That is the most retarted thing I have ever heard. Lucas only let writers expand on the Star Wars Universe, pure and simple. It does not in any shape form or fashion mean that it is his vision of Star Wars. To put my point across Lucas could easily go in and make a new trilogy that disregards all the writes and reshapes the Star Wars Universe to how he in visions it not how other authors in vision it. Its complete arrogance on fans part to say that Lucas opinions don't matter or have any wait. He squash all new star wars content if he wanted to and there is nothing the authors could do.
  12. um you should go back and watch ep 3 again. When Obi-Won watched the Halo Recording they showed Anakin facing two Jedi at the same time. He didn't just kill the Jedi at the Temple he slaughtered them. As for who is more powerful, Anakin or Raven that depends on what version of Star Wars you look at. I don't take the comic books, novels, and video games in to account. There interesting but I don't consider them cannon. Lucas never took the comic books, Novels, and video games in to account, he has stated that. I'll prove my point. The Republic was well over a thousand years according to comic books, and video games, and novels. However in ep 2 there two critical lines that not only tells us how old the Republic was but when the last great war. When Palaptine is talking to his aids and the other Jedi at the start of EP 2, he stats that he will not let the republic that has stood for a thousand year be split in two. This was a pretty exact age in his comment. He didn't say over he said stood for a thousand years. Now one could argue that there were several versions of the Republic however it still the Republic. That would be like saying the Roman empire wasn't the Roman empire cause it went through great changes and was rebuilt, no it was still Roman Empire. Same is true here. Even if the Republic went through some great change it would still be the Republic. Palaptine said hands down that Republic was a thousand years old. His statement was clear and to point. The next critical line actually has two parts, one is when last great war but also when the Republic was formed. One of the Queens aide states that there hasn't been a full scale war sense the formation of the republic. Now the last great war was a thousand years ago, no one can dispute that even Lucas has stated as much. So if the first part is true then it would have to mean that the Republic was formed around the same time. All these lines in movie were Lucas way of telling us that while he allows the books and comics and video games to expand the Star Wars Universe they are not his vision of Star Wars. They are our vision of Star Wars. His vision of Star Wars exist only in what little he has told and in movies. When you throw out the books, comics, and video game content the movies take on a whole new mean. That is just my thoughts on the subject.
  13. Anakin fall to the darkside was not a quick and simple one. The emperor played Anakin well. The Jedi had as much of a hand in Anakin fall to Darkside as the Emperor did. Now don't get me wrong Anakin has no one to blame but himself. In one Star Wars Magazines it was stated the reason that Anakin was so hell bent on becoming a Jedi Master was so that he can get access to restricted teachings that only a Jedi Master would have access to. When council refuse to make him a Master he begin to turn towards the Emperor (granted he wasn't emperor yet). The final blow came when he started feeling shut out, they did not choice him to go after General Grevious. He made the choice to go to the Darkside to save Padma nothing more nothing less. I think Anakin believed that he could go over to the darkside and remain who and what he was. I don't think he wanted to ever be evil I think he only wanted to save his wife. When you get right down to it Love destroyed him but in the end it is love that saved him. I think if he hadn't gone over to the darkside because he loved Padma so much that he was will to do anything to save her that he would have been able to go back to being a good person, he would been lost for good. Also I don't believe that Anakin truly became Darth Vader till he found out his wife was dead. I think when he found out his wife was dead and that his visions came true and that he was to blame he virtually died and was reborn and became Lord Vader. I don't think Vader would have ever challanged emperor had he not found out about his son. Really when you look at ep 6 Vader picks up right were Anakin left off in EP 3. He tried to get Luke to join him and rule the galaxy. In the end as I said it was cause of love that drove him to the darkside but it was loved that saved him in the end.
  14. Are you looking to PVP or to PVE?
  15. You know non of you know how much better Anakin character would have been had it been casted differently. I mean for all you know it could have been far worse. I have seen great actors in roles that turned out to be god awful. The truth is Hayden Christensen did a good job playing the role he was given. The truth is the acting in EP 4-6 were not much better. Actually I think the acting was much better in Ep 1-3 then in EP 4-6. Most of use grew up on Star Wars so were kind of bias and of course we will see it as some great performance but it really wasn't. That is just my opinion any way.
