Title says it, im just here to announce im not paying for this game. Im sure this will cause all you SWTOR fans to start flaming but I have a right to vent on here about why im pissed and canceling just as much as you have a right to support the game. I always thought these posts were stupid and a waste of time for everybody but SWTOR just has me feeling cheated and ripped off. The game is broken and lacks any new original content from other MMOS. They spent a fortune promoting this game and trying to convince people to buy it but did nothing to make original content. VOICEOVERS ARE NOT CONTENT. How is having a voiceover story so much better than reading? How is this any better than reading and how can they justify the time spent doing that over adding real content or creative design? How can they charge a premium for all this as well? My main beef though is that many many people cannot run this game the way it should be run as its soooo poorly optimized. This is an MMO and its not accessible to a massive amount of players?!? How can that succeed? Even worse is that they deny optimization issues?!? Anyone, Ive vented and said what I wanted to say. I feel ripped off and disappointed as the game does not even come close to expectations. Sub Canceled. Fool me once, shame on you! fool me twice, shame on me!

This game will be a fail. It has 0 creative content just flashy voice overs. The stories will entertain folks for a few more months and then its done. They made a clone of past mmos and took the easy route. The fact that this was release with such terrible compatibility and such little content is crap. It would be one thing for a smaller developer to do this but the fact is they had tons of MONEY to be creative and make something new and interesting and instead they invested it all on VOICEOVERS and shiny things. I have unsubscribed. On a positive not though I had given WOW a try and am finding it entertaining so far despite the fact I have boycotted the game for 6 years. If im gonna play a generic MMO i might as well play the original one...

Im interested in listing some purple items for sale on the trade network but want to first see if they are available for purchase and what people are charging. I know its possible to search for the same item and its sale price in other games but I cant seem to do that in this game. What is the quickest way of doing a search and is it possible? Thanks

Does this exist? Im just wondering if I should run Black Talon several times as Im new and trying to stay geared as best possible as I level. I looked at Torhead and put black talon into the mission search but got no results. Thanks

We should ban everything competitive for young people so no ones feelings get hurt. Also, make bullying of any kind a federal offence. Finally if your opinion is different than someone elses you should only be able to communicate that difference in opinion in court via lawsuit. Oh wait we have already done this.

No. Voiceovers are just fillers to disguise lack of content and creativity when developing a game. Great books dont make great movies. Its lipstick on a pig. Not that this game is a pig as im enjoying myself so far but I cant help but think how much better it could be if they focused on real content.

Hey all I found this last night and it has helped improve my fps a bit. While its obviously not ideal and im hoping bioware does something to optimize this game better it did help me some. Ultima Online Pre Trammel. You didnt even have to kill someone to completely own them. Simply stealth, snoop, and steal their house key. You effectively get to loot everything that player has worked to gain in game for the entire duration of there career. If you played UO like a dummy it would chew you up and spit you out. Also, the game was COMPLETELY skill based with only a few magic items that could give you an advantage over others. Typically no one even used magic because it was so expensive to replace and would prefer to use player crafted items. All you CRAFTERS out there actually had a real reason to craft.

I would agree that its def one of the issues im having. When I was on a low pop server my performance was considerably better.

Lol this game is going to be then end of me. So Ive tried the high-low graphics move before and have had 0 results. Im now trying different resolutions while doing the high-low switch to see if that helps. So far what ive found is that when i set everything to hi i actually get better fps then when its low. I just played a warzone on high and it ran better than it ever has on low. Id like to know why Bioware hasnt posted any troubleshooting info on this topic and seems to simply be ignoring a topic that consumes half of general chat forum and 90% of the customer service forum. The more i mess with this the more it makes me want to just not play at all.
