  1. TOR just isn't the game I feel my sparse free time to be worth being spent with. I have about 4-6 hours at hand a week to play video games and TOR just didn't cut it. Other MMOs felt more rewarding with this little time to spent. Anyhow, it's time for some fast paced Diablo 3 action now and I hope Blizzard didn't fail to capture what made D2 so successful.
  2. Does an MMO need a story? No. No game does. Bioware has blurred the distinction between games and movies. This is a trend in all Bioware games, not just TOR. Bioware always had games with great stories to tell, but with more recent games the focus has shifted far too much into the story telling direction. When creating a game the first and most important aspect is gameplay. Story telling always comes second. Bioware seems to have forgotten about this.
  3. Fixes for "stability" reasons most often are simply refactorings what don't affect the features at all. It's just that: more stable.
  4. According to some Guild Summit FAQ most of the Legacy rewards can simply be bought off some vendor. This whole Legacy concept seems more aimed to roleplayers and not to min-maxers.
  5. I hate bootcamp. The only reason I installed it on my Mac has been TOR. I'd use a Mac client in an instant, would even be willing to spend another 60 bucks for it. Note: I own a pretty decent PC capable of running TOR on highest settings, I just don't use it because I dislike Windows for private use.
  6. Zhi Mi and his cousins Phil, Trill and Kyle.
  7. I rolled a Guardian because I thought it would be fun running around in plate armor as a Jedi. Heavy robes are the suck.
  8. Human, because that's the race to go with Star Wars. If Rodian becomes available I'll roll a Scoundrel though.
  9. I buy all skills available on all ranks. On my Guardian I use like 50% of them though.

  11. It's time for Ewoks with the Mists of Endor expansion.
  12. He played the first one, not the second. And apart from this it isn't about the gore, it's about the other people playing the game not adhering to any teen rating at all.
  13. I don't allow my 12 year old to play this game, but he watches me at times playing it and more than once asked if my Jedi/Sith stops being so utterly weak at any point Guess Force Unleashed isn't healthy Star Wars education.
  14. I'd roll bard in an instant if it were available. Has always been my favorite class.
  15. The lack of threads about cool stuff in this game. Somehow Bioware managed to create a forum full of trolls.
