  1. It was obvious from the start that — despite the name — the ’eternal’ alliance would be temporary. It was always a temporary alliance between all parties concerned with toppling Zakuul. And when our PCs became the most powerful persons in the, the stort had climaxed and there wasn’t anything left to do. The alliance had to die for the story to progress in any meaningful way whatsoever. It was obvious from the start and even more so when we acquired the throne. On a subjective note I am glad tge Kotfeet nonsense is over.
  2. Skipping mobs and stealthing isn’t hacking by any means whatsoever. What happened here most likely: The group wanted to skip mob packs in Rishi, which you can do without stealth, but OP decided that he wasn’t much of a teamplayer and pulled every mob pack. The majority in the group simply had enough with OPs narcissisms and kicked him. There’s not even a hint of troll, hacks or otherwise bad scent from anything except the OP hinself in this situation.
  3. Cxp farming is not an efficient way of acquiring wealth. You’re talking about fairness, but really it’s entitledness masked as fairness. More demanding tasks yield better stuff — deal with it. If you are so desperate for credits set up a crafting emporium. Unless of course you’re lazy and want rewards anyway...
  4. If you are a vanilla/story player you certainly don’t need anything from galactic command. Same goes for most solo content unless you are soloing mm uprisings.
  5. Fantastic necro, kid! I hope Darshanna from five years back appreciates for your comment!
  6. Hey. I've never experienced energy issues in ops at all, even when executing rotation well without any rifle shots on bosses with no movement. However, when parsing on dummy I find myself either having rather serious energy issues. Looking at the top lethality parses, the usage of rifle shot is extremely conservative. Is it just me? Have I missed something obvious?
  7. It’s only way overdue if you are too cheap to pay a handful of bucks per month. Get a job and pay for things you want. That is how it works.
  8. If we are going to justify basic stuff like stats please do tell me where in the movies Vader decided to stack crit. Or perhaps that time when Obi Wan was looking for implants? I mean, come on. Stats are numbers behind your damage. And if it really bothers you, well — force users need precision, too. There are not a lot of canon sources in which force users just heave out force stuff and saber chops aimlessly in some general direction...
  9. 1, 2 and 3 looks like a high priority for a minority. If resources are scarce in development, focus them on something actually worthwhile for the majority.
  10. Voice acting is not a problem. Whenever your character speaks, just use a random Wookiee gurgle already recorded for Bowdaar. Facial animations? Just use Bowdaar's. Sure, they're not all-encompassing, but who cares?
  11. Personally I liked what the devs said in this podcast. Resources are as we all know limited but they're showing that they are making priorities that include a broad playerbase based on the data, which they -- unlike us -- have access to. We're not gonna get everything we want. But I think we're on the right track. For us that love story we should be happy that what we get is not covered in a little podcast. That would herald bad things. Instead we wait until they're ready to unveil the big stuff.
  12. It's the classic "But all my friends do x, so y is impossible" -- it says more about you than anything else. This is not an opinion but empirical data. And what it says is: PvE players on the whole tend to sub when there is new content, finish it, and unsub -- and repeat. PvP players stay subbed. What this means in practice is: Keep making PvE stuff on the reg to maintain returning subs, but keep making PvP content too for the (apparently large enough to matter) paying PvP group. Don't be a bloody doomsday prophet.
  13. Hah, yeah. I found it, it's crouch (ability) / take cover in place (keybinds). I should have looked before asking Cheers though.
