  1. Today's patch (6.1.2b) did not fix the crew skill levels. Some skills which were 700 are now at 600 max. This is affecting all my characters.
  2. Are they going to fix the following: 1. Armstech components needed for Artiface crafting. 2. Critical hit rate for Grade 9 Slicing missions (no critical hits)
  3. Can anyone tell me where you can buy the VIP pass or if you have the standard version of the game, can you buy an upgrade for DDE version? Thanks
  4. A new direction - multi-path story lines: Bioware really needs to change how they develop games. If you really want to develop a game which keep player interested, you need open-world multi-path options. SWTOR needs several more worlds, larger game play areas, switchable sides, open space combat (re-Prophecy or similar type games), troopers and smugglers on the Imp side, agents and bounty hunters on the pub side, consequences for light/dark actions, and no more "save the world/galaxy" by a lone jedi - should be by the action of many acting together to overcome impossible odds (can we say massive PVP?) on multiple fronts over many years! Not an easy option - just need to re-think how its done. I don't care about titles, cartel market, reputation, achievements, more flashpoints or ops, or gearing up - I want to live life through this game - If I die, I go back and start over, if I accel in a particular area (pilot, trooper, jedi, ect..); I will succeed!!!!! ---- multi-path please!!!! The same answer should not always mean the same story line. If I play a Jedi knight 10 times, it should not end up the same redundent factory options/story............................!
  5. Found the conversion info here: http://dulfy.net/2013/02/22/swtor-commendations-system-in-patch-2-0/ Yes, they will be converting all the end-game commendations in 2.0. Surprised BW doesn't have more info on this posted. They should send an email to all subs telling them what's going to happen, not only the comm. conversion, but also the gear changes. I don't like all the changes stated on Dulfy. Seems like they are replacing one complicated system for an equally complicated system (just to get people to continue the "grind" after they reach lvl 55). Why not just award credits and let people gear as they wish.
  6. They had a conversion chart for the different comms to elder game comms. Anyone know where that is?
  7. Don't think so... getting numerous operation failed messages when opening mail or when taking attachments/credits. Not loosing the attachments or credits, just getting error messages. Server: Ebony Hawk - all characters.
  8. Apparently your not paying attention to the news, 300K+ people protested this issue in Paris the other day and that doesn't include the other protest in Paris and elsewhere in France. But whether or not you support or oppose this issue and the violence, etc., it does need to be talked about especially when young kids are involved. (15 or younger) and they do play this game. Kids that young are, for the most part, unable to make mature decisions for themselves and need parental guidance (and hopefully Bioware will also take some responsible action). Do you want your kids (I personally know of one 11 year old playing) deciding on whether to sleep with, romance, or marry their companions (I also know at least one player who slept with their companion)? This also includes brutal murder, cutting off heads, enslaving, etc. and getting rewards for it. Maybe Bioware should consider a kids only game and an adult only game and require proof of age... And I'm not trolling or trying to "rile up" people - this subject is being discussed here and elsewhere in these forums. If it bothers you or you "don't care" then ignore it.
  9. I don't dual spec, but I believe there is an option to save your UI setup. On the top left corner of skill bar 1 by your potrait, right click the UI icon and you get a drop down menu which let's you select various saved UI setups. I think there's an option in the UI editor which wil let you save and name your setup. Default save is "character name1", ...2, etc.
  10. Parents don't always check the ratings for games, movies, etc. + kids love Star Wars (especially young kids). I was surprised by the rating and by that fact that Bioware ignored their PRIMARY audience. Maybe Disney will be different. If I were a parent, I would want parental controls and would not only lock out OGR/SGR and lock the language filter, but I would also completely lock out the IMP side which encouages bad behavior on the part of the player. And guess where you find most of the kids? (and a great deal of immaturity) - Imp. side... But the point is - Bioware keeps making bad choices. They've lost over half their subscriber base and everytime they get some back they do something to loose it again. Most of the SWTOR discussion on the web is 90% negative with only about 10% positive. Bioware needs to concentrate on two things: Expanding the story line content and fixing the bugs. All the cosmetic changes, the extra post 50 "grind" points will not keep this game alive.
  11. I sincerely hope Bioware makes SGR an option which must be selected rather than forcing it on all players. Also there are a tremendous number of underage kids that play this game despite the mature rating, yet there are no parental controls. Will the parents of these kids now drop their subs. or maybe even sue Bioware if the SGR content goes too far. It will be interesting to see how many subs. they loose because of this. They may have just shot themselves in the foot....
  12. If they set it right, it will only log you out when there is no activity for a set time period - its needed to protect your account from being hacked or misused by someone else. I'm talking about the SWTOR website - not the game.
  13. I recently made the mistake of closing my browser after logging into the SWTOR. I found that I was still logged in several days later when I came back. This is not good for user account security. Please set a timeout on the user accounts so they are automaticcally logged out after 2 or 3 hours of inactivity. I believe you'll find this setting somewhere in the web server's security settings - depends on which web server software you are using. Thanks.
  14. Sentinels need a long range attack. They have none now. 10 m max. ...
