  1. better yet, there should be a system that takes into account the entire Account's activity. If a person has mulitple chracters, and they all have high social levels, or high valor levels, there should be an Account level title that shows their proficiancy, just like 'founder' is account level. that way, people would know your level of skill, no matter the level of your currant character
  2. how about a reputation system that is geared towards PVP skill, as that is the true testimate of a player's ability?
  3. Two things, what it seems is occuring is that the game was designed to be flexible so that it could accomodate different types of players, so that you could level up, but not be forced to play content that not all players would wish to go through, and also, which I think you are hitting on, is that you can play all the content, just not on the same character, but I think it would be nice to play all the content with the same character, as each character has it's own unique playing style to it, but at the end of the day, it does seem to be designed so that you do eventually have to create multiple characters, which I suppose is meant to lengthen your overall playing time (subscription months).
  4. I'm not doing the same missions twice, what it boils down to is that the game wasn't designed for a player to do 'everything' and still maintain a balanced experience. It's like going to a four course restaurant, have all four course just as it seems the restaurant was designed for, and then all of a sudden being told that I'm over eating.
  5. I'm being punished because I wish to do both PVE and PVP, but doing the PVP over levels my character and then my character's level is out-of-sync with the Planetary and Class mission levels.
  6. Why should I have to be punished for wanting to do both? I don't see how that's fair.
  7. I guess from a business standpoint it just goes to show you can't make everyone happy, and you just have try to keep the 20-80 rule; take care of the 20% of your customer base that generates 80% of your revenue.
  8. I do the FP's consistantly because they give out roughly 10 Planetary comms, not for the experience. I have my legacy upgrades for FPs, Class Missions, and Explorations fully upgraded. So I am able to do the Planetary missions, Class Missions, and FP's so that I am usually on par with my current planet's level, but I miss out on doing the PVP because it will definately over level me in terms of Class Missions, which I don't want... I'm starting to think that if I didn't purchase the Legacy XP upgrades, I would be able to do more PVPing...
  9. ok, but what if you want to do both PVE and PVP? That creates over leveling.
  10. I should have thought of this sooner: Make the amount of xp to gain a level much higher, so you can get to do all the content without becoming overleveled.
  11. why assume that individuals will prefer to stay at level 49 than move on to 50? The concept behind the suggestion is to reduce the xp from sub-50 PVP to maintain the integrety of the sub-50 PVE experience. The concerns regarding over geared levels 49s is valid, but at this point it is simply theoretical, while we do know that the reason for the thread is beyond a theory; it is actually already happening. To prevent abuse, then there would need to be an incentive offered to move on to 50, but incentives do already exist though, such as better gear availability and Legacy benefits.
  12. you will be able to PVP as much as you want, while not overlevelling your character so that the Planetary Missions and Class Storyline will still be challenging.
  13. no, this concern is based on the misconception that you can only level a character via War Zones, which isn't the case. This concern is more applicable towards getting War Hero gear, where the situation may be that you and everyone else from your faction online at the moment have Recruit Gear only, while the opponents are fully equiped with War Hero gear, and the only manner in which you can aquire War Hero gear in which to become more competitve, is by continuously playing the group of opponents who are better geared than you. But this is not the case in sub-50 model, as there are other ways in which to gain experience besides just War Zones.
  14. Level 50 gear concept and design is great, you have a set of gear for PVP that is not optimal for PVE excursions, and a set of PVE gear that is unsuitable for PVP & Warzones and these gear pieces are gained by spending time on their correlated events (FP's ect for PVE gear, War Zones for PVP gear); makes sense. But: This is not the case with the gear sold by the sub-50 PVP Vendor. The gear available from that vendor is far greater in stats than is available via Planetary comms, which is counter intuative, considering that you simply need to complet 5-10 War Zone matches (depending on if win them or not), and then if you are only considering gear stats, you will not actually need to concentrate on any Planetary missions to get better gear for roughly 10-20 levels, each tier of the sub-50 PVP gear. Please reconsider the current approach to sub-50 PVP gear, and apply the current level 50 gear design to the sub-50 gear model.
  15. Please allow an option to opt for more credits and ZERO experience gains from completed sub-50 War Zones. They are too high (18k sometimes), and over levels me, which then takes the challenge out of my Planetary and Class Story missions. Sub-50 PVP is great, just don't let it undermine the sub-50 PVE.
