  1. A dev shouldn't have to say things like that. Its sugar coating BS and most will see right through it. The latest statement on Makeb (before this announcement) was that they were still not sure if it was going to be paid content or not. If you recall, the release date for TOR changed several times.
  2. Id like to think that everyone knows that nothing is set in stone by now. Its also all about wording. Did anyone say "Absolutely, Makeb will without a doubt be released by the end of 2012"? There are no guarantees in the gaming business.
  3. I remember a game called SWG, and there was an expansion that was basically one planet (Mustafar) and if I remember correctly I paid 30 bucks for that. Now, granted that was around the time of the NGE and a lot of people got their money back yadda yadda. My point being, there have been skimpy expansions that were in the range of 30-40 that didn't include a level cap increase. For $9.99, this sounds just about right. Who cares what was said months ago, people have since gotten laid off and other projects have no doubt been cancelled (guild ships anyone?). Lets be happy that we are getting something like this at all.
  4. It puts the lotion in the basket Put the ....... lotion in the basket! It put the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again Wait...what is this I don't even...
  5. The game after updates is roughly 20 gigabytes. I hope you have A LOT of cd's or a flash drive.
  6. I said nothing about anyone being bad players. You all jumped on my response just because I said it wasn't needed. I insulted no one and I provided reasons why I think neither of the OP suggestions are needed. Okay, not everyone wants to use voice, fair enough. Use chat then....1 ready 2 not ready. Can you (the OP/guild leader) not scroll up and count how many people are ready/not ready? I think TOR is an amazing game and I just think that certain little things are not hard to do yourself.
  7. Take better control of your TS/vent/mumble. Is it really that hard to do that? Nope, people have been communicating that way for many years.
  8. Why do you need a guild calender? If your guild doesn't have a website by now...your way behind. Even better, make a guild page on Facebook and make events that way...hell its free. Ready check? My god, people complain so much that TOR is a WoW clone and this is why. Get teamspeak/vent/mumble and communicate that way. These are vanity features and just because they are in that "other" game, it doesn't mean TOR needs them.
  9. You're probably right, I just meant that in the grand scheme of things...TOR was their vision and now they are gone. I just hope that their vision for TOR has been passed on and not completely gone.
  10. It was on Facebook about 5 minutes ago but it suddenly disappeared. This is the best I could find http://www.bioware.com/archive/bioware TOR is SCREWED.
  11. Lets suggest they do it like crafting was in SWG. Okay, you need this component from this crafting profession (which they will need to get components from 2 OTHER crafting professions), you ALSO need 3 other components from a profession that NO ONE plays anymore...then just then you can craft aug kits. Happy? Thought so. Just reroll. You could've already rerolled your crafting profession weeks ago if you would've just logged onto the PTS (or read the patch notes) weeks ago.
  12. You were on your ship. The plural of Jedi is Jedi. For the love of all things sacred, ITS JEDI! I know you know this, because you actually did it later in your post. I dunno bout your companions, but mine stand in one place all day.
  13. You do realize that MT's can mean anything from paid transfers to fluff in game right? Also, as far as I'm concerned EA has their name on TOR because of BW and nothing more. I would expect that things that may be true for EA games, aren't automatically applied to Bioware games.
  14. Wouldn't surprise me. I have watched a few live streams of WoW arenas/BG's etc and they always get so irate when they have to wait more than 2 minutes for a que to pop. Here is what is strange, on my old server (Rubat Crystal) right up until transfers, wz's were popping quite consistently. Now, on The Ebon Hawk I find myself waiting much longer than 5-10 minutes for a que to pop. IMO transfers didn't help much on that front.
  15. I'm sorry but, for the most part I vote for the person who did the most healing. For the simple fact that I have rarely won a warzone without at least 2 healers. But I do understand where you are coming from. In Voidstar, I can get over 40 kills and have defender medals and still no MVP votes. Again, as I see the MVP votes add up, its usually the healers that get them. Equally deserved IMO. Perhaps have different MVP votes, in other words Healer MVP DPS MVP maybe a defender MVP (though that really doesn't work for Huttball). I would like to see a more diverse MVP system.
