  1. He's talking about an episode from a stupid sitcom.
  2. Everyone is just making excuses for it being ok to have an ugly fleet. Stop trying to justify it.
  3. Sorry that people would like to spend their time in a nice looking place? When I first stepped into the Imp Fleet on my alt I literally said "wow, this is so much nicer than the Republic Fleet." What's sad is that everyone in my guild agreed with me. It's just that much brighter and livelier for the Empire.
  4. Sorry, but your opinion of "wonderfully crafted" is not valid for everyone. The stories are straight up not good (excluding IA).
  5. Wow, this literally made me lol. I'm 100% positive you have never played this game. Ever. You have to be trolling, or really failing at being sarcastic. To the people saying that the Republic Fleet is better... you're wrong. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. They aren't "cherry picked." That is how the RF and IF look, bad and good.
  6. It's rather ridiculous that we have to burn 1.5s to use Pacify. That's a huge loss of damage in PvP, where seconds really matter. Thoughts, comments?
  7. It's rather annoying to see 4+ people in every warzone get sub-100k damage/healing because they're "playing the objective." If you're trying to cap a Voidstar door while getting your *** handed to you by half of the enemy team, and then proceed to do the EXACT SAME THING right after reviving, you're not playing the game correctly. If you think it is possible to cap a door or node during a fight, then attempt to. If they stop you and you keep trying to cap it, then you are not helping the fight at all. Spamming right click on an objective that you're not going to cap means you are doing 0 damage, 0 healing, 0 protection. This happens in almost all of the online games I play. It's ridiculous seeing people dying over and over trying to cap a Domination flag in a FPS. I am not saying to just ignore objectives, that would be incredibly stupid. Rather, try to use your brain JUST A LITTLE BIT and you'll perform much better. This applies less so for Huttball, for obvious reasons. If you're unable to pull a MINIMUM 150k damage or healing in a Voidstar, in either 10-49 or 50 bracket, then you're worthless.
  8. Unsubscribe. But seriously, unsubscribe. The latest patch screwed up so much stuff it's absolutely ridiculous. Stuttering, white flashes, FPS drops. Either wait until a "fix" arrives, deal with it, or unsubscribe. Also, upgrading could possibly help you, but only because you would be trying a different piece of hardware. Your current GPU is above what you need to run this game.
  9. I never understand thinking like this. The game has been in development for years. People in Beta were complaining about this. Now you thank them for something that SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THE GAME to begin with?
  10. The problem being that you instantly explode if you're a melee character without stealth. If you even dare charge someone you get to see 5 thousand Tracer Missiles crashing into you.
  11. The sheer amount of these classes in the lower level bracket is ridiculous. Every single game is literally 3~4 Sorc and 3~4 BH, with 1 or 2 other classes. How is that even fun for people, playing the exact same class as everyone else?
  12. It's a barely glorified enhancement of WoW-style quests. The side quests are (for the most part) just as shallow as the ones found in other games. Of course there are some great exceptions, but they are few and far between.
  13. lol? So let's not have raiding or PvPing in the game. Hell, let's force everyone to reroll as soon as they hit 50. This is a MMO. I think the storytelling was decent AT BEST, yet I'm still playing.
  14. On my first playthrough (Jedi Consular) I watched every class quest up through the middle of Act 2. I then realized it was completely awful and started spacebarring. I did read a lot of the Voss storyline so I could marvel at how terrible it is. Still spacebarring through my Sentinel. The story is nothing spectacular at all. Side quests almost always get spacebarred. It's the typical MMO quests and nothing more. THE EXCEPTIONS are the starting areas. They were far better than the later planets.
  15. Before the patch: 1920x1080, .ini 8x AA, max settings on everything besides shadows (low), bloom enabled Constant 60 FPS at all times in every space mission After the patch: Lowered all the way down to 1280x1024, no AA, lowest settings possible, no bloom Sometimes 60 FPS with drops down to 10-15 FPS in most space missions I haven't done anything besides space missions and run through the Fleet since the patch. I was getting a constant ~20 FPS on the Fleet with the abysmal looking settings. Anyone else in the same position?
