  1. Just to clarify, my suggestion about a pseudo-tank buff is limited to only FPs. I would never, ever advocate such a feature for Operations. The incentive to tank is definitely one of the core issues, imo. In the real world, when you feel that you are no longer being compensated fairly for your work, you find new a employer who will. I'm this virtual world, there are no other employers, so most tanks just quit working altogether!
  2. Different strokes for different folks. Just because the current features work for you, doesn't mean they work for everyone else. IMO, we need massive improvements to the UI for personalized buff, debuff and PROC notifications.
  3. The new role independent FPs had me thinking about a similar feature for other FPs. What if 1 DPS was randomly selected to "be the tank". This player would receive a very generous buff to threat generation, mitigation and HP. The pseudo-tank buffs would be generous enough to allow for a comfortable margin of error in the event he/she "stands in the bad" for too long. In the event that the pseudo-tank does not know the fights (i.e., fresh 55), the pseudo-tank buffs could be passed to a more experienced DPS in this group. Personally, I don't mind tanking but I have limited play time and cannot maintain 2-3 sets of gear. BW could also look at greatly improving rewards for Tanks by rewarding them with extra credits, comms, and special Tank-only mounts/achievements. In short, make it extremely rewarding to tank a FP.
  4. More exploration for both planets and space as well as LESS EXHAUSTION ZONES. Also, would it hurt to have a little sandbox in the corner of this theme park?!
  5. I agree with BMM - we certainly don't need any more reasons for people to leave the fleet! Just the other day, I had to wait in line for 2 hours just to use the bathroom at the Tatooine spaceport. By the way, I don't really care about a PvP space expansion but somehow that was developed without my consent.
  6. I would really like more customization for weapon type. In fact, I would even pay CC for the option. Sadly, this is the only way to get EA to implement cosmetic/customization enhancements. I also find the argument of complicating loot drops to be a non-issue with the proliferation of moddable weapons. There are at least 3-4 unique weapons available on CM/Rep vendors which do not currently drop from bosses.
  7. Regrettably, we are very unlikely to see content which does not have a direct monetary impact. If I ever win the lottery, I plan to make EA an offer they can't refuse! Then we'll get chairs, chat bubbles and day/night cycles.
  8. I would love to see a little sandbox in the corner of this Theme Park. Hybrids are the future of MMOs, imo.
  9. I fully support need/greed limitations based on class, but WoW's system is flawed when the appropriate class/spec does not need the gear. That said, the system WoW has in place could be improved by allowing other players to roll Need once the primary class(es) have Passed and/or hit Greed. For example, Jedi Guardian heavy armor drops for the tank and he doesn't need the item so he/she hits Greed. The Need button then becomes active for all non-heavy armor non-force users (i.e., rest of the group).
  10. I couldn't agree more with the need for a configurable debuff tracking UI and a visual display notifications for proc'd abilities.
  11. I like your enthusiasm, but the term "best pvp" is highly subjective. Personally, I would never label an mmo without large scale instanced and/or open world pvp as the best pvp mmo, and potentially adding small scale shoebox instanced pvp wouldn't change my opinion at all.
  12. It's like buying a car with no AC and complaining that it's too hot to drive. Plus, he's probably playing a force user class which makes perfect sense that your antagonist is another force user, especially in the context of the initial story. Next!
  13. Need a x-server queue first, but yes.
  14. I have a bad feeling about this.
  15. Ah yes, thank you. So he's complaining about the starter bosses who are consistent with the initial plot focus of a story driven mmo? Next!
