  1. Not a single person in this thread was misinformed in the way you are refering to. You came in here and "informed us" that the buff appears in our buff bar, no ****.... really? We know it appears there, thats why the OP says it hurts his eyes. He doesn't want to stare at a little square for hours on end. It doesnt matter how big you make the buff bar, (especially sits it stupidly attached to the portrait) staring at one area strains eyes, is not conducive of a good gameplay experience, and detracts from the actual gameplay taking place. Lastly, i would like to point taking your eyes off the fight during an OPS to watch your buff bar the whole time leads to wipes.
  2. Not everyone likes staring at stagnate icons at the bottom of their and perhaps prefer to enjoy the actual game. Dont tell me how to play my game and I wont tell you how to play yours.
  3. A little golden cloud puffs out of your character's chest when Find Weakness procs. It lasts for 1 second.
  4. Just logged into 1.5 and noticed a couple things. One being that my backblast ( i dont have shoot first yet) uses a different weapon model than before. It use to be a shotgun with a long barrel, similar to shotguns from today's time. But now the animation uses a small, snub-nosed super-scifi looking weapon. I also noticed the weapon used in the animation looks a lot like the icon for my scattergun. Could it be that scoundrels now get to see unique shotguns based on their equipped weapon? On a separate note, I noticed that our stealth now has a different sound when you first go into stealth, but our quickshot still has the lame pea-shooter sound.
  5. Sentinel's Stun: Force Stasis: Subdues the target, stunning it while the ability is channeled and dealing 787 kinetic damage every second. Builds 1 focus per second. A 3 second channeled stun that builds 3 focus. Focus is simply a bonus to make the ability not god-awful bad. Trooper Stun: Cryo Grenade : Hurls a cryo grenade that freezes the target, stunning it for 4 seconds As you can see, their crappy channeled melee 3 sec stun is the same Cd as our 30 yd 4 second stun

  7. Impossible. A game engine isnt just some paintjob developers throw on at the end. The engine is the framework for the entire game. New Engine = new game code. They would have to start from scratch with the code, though all the art would be already done this would still be setting them back about 2-3 years.
  8. Grav Round/Tracer Missile DO NOT BYPASS ARMOR. This is a myth thats being perpetuated on these forums. Do the testing yourself.

  10. Not whenever possible, but at specific times. Do NOT just use those abilities when theyre off CD. Demo Round should only be used when you have 5 stacks of Grav Vortex on the target (thats 3 shots of grav round). (note that Demo Round wont use up those stacks) High Impact Bolt, should only be used when you have 5 stacks of charged barrel
  11. I've tested this for hours now. This is what Charged Barrel is suppose to do : Charged Barrel Grav Round grants Charged Barrel, increasing the damage dealt by the next High Impact Bolt by 6%. Stacks up to 5 times. What actually happens: Using Grav Round does indeed apply the Charged Barrel buff to the player. The tooltip for High Impact Bolt(HIB) even updates the damage for the buff. However, using HIB uses all the stacks of Charged Barrel (as it should), but does NOT deal increased damage. It took me a while to figure what was going on because at first I noticed a damage increase over a non-Charged Barrel HIB. However, what I was noticing as an increase in damage was actually HIB bypassing the targets armor thanks to Grav Vortex stacks. What it comes down to is the Charged Barrel is completely broken, dont put a point in it until its fixed. I have submitted an in-game ticket stating the above. I suggest the rest of you do so as well. It seems they dont even know whats broken in their game.
  12. Why did you make two AC's of the same base class to "see the story" when theyre going to be identical? You should have made 1 Commando Trooper and 1 Powertech BH (or reversed). That way you get to see both the Trooper and BH story and also get to play both AC's
  13. Yes this is the only problem i have. I dont care for the flashiness of it, but thats not what bothers me.
