  1. Agreed. It's far too easy. DPS is never an issue. Once you get the dance steps right in all the fights, it's pretty easy.
  2. I don't agree with you buddy. If you are saying they are taking the game to a point where content is not able to be cleared at the level that content opens up at, then I believe you find out you will be mistaken. The damage is too high. A decent geared 168 toon played by a decent player can do a job in NiM, when grouped with everyone else who are well geared.
  3. It's crazy. All the current qq thread go along this train of thinking.... I currently do 3.9k DPS, If I do anything under 3.825k dps after expan I am calling the police and quitting and writing a strongly worded letter. The splodges on my letter are my tears.
  4. In the interests of balance (see what I did there?), here's a thread for the happy to give it a go crew. I have no idea what Shadow of Revan is going to look like, taste like, smell like, feel like and more importantly play like. Not a clue. So I am happy to stand here and say loudly "I am happy to give this a try." No tears. No petitions. No lawyers. It may be spectacular and awesome. It may be disaterously poor. We'll find out in a month.
  5. I only play tanks and healers. So I'm not gonna cry like all the DPS players. These changes are changes that no one will even notice within a couple of months after the expansion. Let the rebuttals begin.
  6. The impossible question of what should I play! You've answered the question yourself already. You like the Mando and crew. You don't like the Operative and crew. No one can answer this question but yourself. Only you know what you enjoy. Every single class in the game is playable in both PVP and PVE if played well. Play what you enjoy. When it comes to PVP, Operative/Scoundrel heals are very sought after. But Merc/Mando heals are great as well. Sorc/Sage seems to be the least preferrred. This is for PVP only. In PVE, all classes can do a good job at the roles they are chosen for. Flavour of the month should be avoided for the simple reason that as soon as you pick FOTM, another class becomes it.
  7. Pug groups want you to have the achieve because they want to quickly get through it. They're not your friends or guildies, so they're not really there to give you time to learn or to teach you the fight. If you can't do it with your own guild the horrible answer is to find a guild you can do it with. Pugs should never be there to train or teach you the fights. That's what friends and guilds are for.
  8. Things like this make or break a game. Let's see how it pans out. I hope it's not lowering the skill level of the players themselves by making things easy.
  9. I would love the little laser firing ball things from A New Hope. You know the ones I mean, Luke trained on the Falcon with them. I want them and I want them to fire and even target folk. Lightsaber classes to be able to deflect them. Won't expect it though.
  10. Writing or drawing things that relate to emotinal and romantic things is not the same as having romantic feelings towards the things they are painting and writing. That's the difference. They return to reality. I'm not sure the OP, judging by his posts and the commitment shown in his signature, ever returns to reality. Therfore, unhealthy. Also "How do you know it's not just something frivolous and fun?" well, just go to the link in his signature and an answer may present itself. Obsession. That is not healthy.
  11. Dude you're still not getting this. Yes I play a game, for light entertainment. That's it. I don't play to fulfil my emotinal or social needs. I am not in love with the game, I have no romantic involvement with it. That's the difference, the difference you are trying to avoid. It's the romantic connotations I have said is not healthy and it's not. There is no further discussion or evidence to be provided. I'm not asking anyone to conform to anything. I am saying, and will say it again and again, having a ROMANTIC emotional response to something that is not real is utterly strange and jarring. It's the romantic part and the romantic part only. So answer that one. Go on, explain how the romantic part is completely fine.
  12. Attchment to a car, OK. But a romantic involvement? No. This is a conversation about someone with a romantic involvement. That is odd. No ifs or buts, it's odd. I love my car, I am not in love with it. I would not fantasize or imagine we are romantically involved.
  13. They're not living their life. They are living in a land of complete fantasy, holding emotional attachement to something that does not exist. That is unhealthy. Relationships with emotional attachment and romantic feelings towards something that is not real is odd and a little jarring to many. Children grow up and realise emotional attchement to inanimate objects is childish and something to grow up from. They, for the most part, do.
  14. They are children. Emotional development is not yet comlplete. They don't have romantic relationships, so it's inncoent. These folk are talking about genuine emotional, romantic relationships. They are also not children.
  15. Yeah OK. Good luck with imaginery relationships. I'm sure it's a life less ordinary and fulfilling. Not at all wierd or quite unsettling. Also, good luck with trying to bring things from reality in to justify things not from reality. I'm sure that's working well for you. Which is kinda my main point. Complete detachment from reality for the imaginery.
