  1. I resubbed a bit over a month ago, from a few years gone. Relearning the game, then got hit by this new thing and looks if I have to figure things out a bit longer. My apologies in advance for not knowing simple stuff like this: 1.I have the Shae Vizla new companion sitting in my mailbox, but not understanding quite how that works. Can I claim her on all my characters or just one? I have multiple characters who I would like to use her on, but if I am only regulated to one, well you get my confusion. I know this is a noob question, but asking it in Fleet is akin to disaster. 2. Along with Shae, I know major changes were made to companions. I have been reading some complaints here and there about companion gifts. Was there something major that changed? I have a whole stockpile of them and I have no idea what to do with them. If anyone can take a sec to help a guy out, much appreciated.
  2. I like to support every else you proposed, with exception of the old packs/armor sets. Maybe you can be a bit more concise on your idea there. As far as the mostly 'unobtainable' armor sets you may be speaking of, I like the rarity. I like seeing other players wearing something I have never seen before or is rare that makes me stop and gee-gaw. The idea has merit however, maybe once or twice per year bringing back some of those armors your speaking of via a recolor or a slight change under a different name for the armor. I may not be making sense so I'll give an example: There is an armor that I really like that is called Jedi (something-cant recall the name of it off hand) It looks spectacular. Its older and rarer and commands an insane price on GTN, when pieces are even there. If BW makes it available again with a tweak to the look and a different name for 1000 coins, I'm all in.
  3. Great, and thanks for the response. I was a bit surprised at the amount of players who are collectors. I had a few contact me in game already. I haven't moved anything as of this post, been busy with the new expansion and figuring things out. Looking forward to hearing from you in game. Send Vhenge a short in game message in case we cannot connect time wise.
  4. Quick backstory: I played from launch for awhile, quit. Then resubbed a few years later. Thing is, I was/am a hoarder. Credits are not an issue. However my inventory is. I have a large collection of full armor sets that I would like to sell to another collector. Most are old sets, and about half a page worth of newer sets. These are 99% loose pieced sets, taking up a lot of inventory space. I do have a few cartel boxed up sets also. Reason why I am posting here is twofold, I hate advertising on Fleet (I have no patience for it) and the second is that all of the sets being individual pieces I really don't want to run the risk of doing this via GTN and ruining what I have complete. If you are a serious collector, contact me in game: Vhenge I won't post all of what I have for sale at the moment here, because quite honestly I'm just not sure if there is a collector market on the server, and there is quite a bit to write out and I don't want to waste my time. If I see some interest here (Careful, I don't frequent the forums) or in game as Vhenge (chat or mail) One last thing. I have already had "friendly" people get to know me so they can try to get something for nothing. Please don't be another one of those. Looking forward to see if there is any collectors out there!:D
  5. I know this may sound strange, but I did find a resolution on my end at least: I just removed whatever I was equipped with when I was trying to look at armor designs (Being a returning player after quite a few years I have a lot to catch up on) So, your basically in your defaulted underclothes. I haven't gotten any of the associated bugs with trying on armor since I have done this, and I've done this in many different places. I'm not shy I suppose? If you are, go hide somewhere and do it, it may help. At least try it. edit: spell'n
  6. I returned from a few years absence and have been trying to get back into all aspects of the game. I was a hoarder back then, so I am okay with in-game credits. The GTN "game" being one of them. That said, this quote I made is one thing about this game and the market that I just cant wrap my head around. I don't get it at all. Literally makes NO sense to me. Can anyone explain why this is like this?
  7. I agree somewhat, and disagree as well. Not to injure anyones pride, but most people are lemmings. If they have something that may be reasonably desirable, they may go into the market to sell with a price in mind. Then they get there and see the same thing for sale at some crazy insane pricetag. Nobody is going to stop and say to themselves "Hey self, I know what this is really worth, so I will put it up for one tenth of what they have." IF that item is worth it to price high? they will fall right in line and put a price on it just like the others. And in my own opinion, I've played a lot of MMO's. never have I played one where the community was collectively happy with the economy. just simple facts
  8. Yep, I believe it is really possible. I made a new Sith Warrior when I returned a few weeks back from a few years gone. I used regular armor, and the only buff was a series of those 3 hour 25% things (I think that is what they are) I did all the content on Korriban solo, even the Heroics. Then on to Dromund Kaas. My Sith is now sitting at 33, nowhere near finishing DK, and I even began skipping some side content and heroics to focus on main story. Thing is, it is entirely possible to level past 40 and beyond just on DK with this extra XP bump. I'm not even going out of my way for extra kills or anything. Just a casual player, dedicated, but casual. (Also parked my char in a rest place for that bit of extra during my down cycle of not playing) I don't think during this XP ride you need to do anything special, just do all the content.
  9. Thanks for the reads and replies, so, what did you guys think of my idea by chance? stinks? awesome?
  10. I have to know, and I'm being honest with no amount of snark or troll at all, do the things get noticed and implemented on a regular basis from the guys running the show? Have there been some really great ideas made into reality? Do we get feed back from staff here? I'm real curious, I just resubbed a few weeks back from a multi-year hiatus and I have tons of questions about many things. This be just one. As far as a cartel market suggestion, I'll put one in; Let me buy a GTN pack that will allow me some way to do a reboxing of 5 or 6 loose complete armor sets to sell on the market. It is not real difficult to sell loose sets, but boxed sets are nicer, as I'm sure most will agree. It might be nice to have a way to repackage sets once and awhile for convenience. I'm sure this has been suggested before, but there it is. =D
  11. Huh? The guy didn't "accidentally" lose 100 mil, he PURPOSELY gave away 100 mil. However, you are correct in saying he has no obligation to give anything back.
  12. Didn't read the entire thread, I've most been busy picking my jaw up off the floor after reading the OP. I Just returned from a very long absence, had a ton of banked cartel coins or whatever to spend. I bought a hypercrate. I got one of those vented lightsabers. Until now I had NO idea how lucky I was. Not bragging, just saying.
  13. I usually don't spend alot of time on the forums here, the subject that I would like to have a quick series of comments on is a mystery to me as to where I should even post it under so moderators please move to where it may be appropriate. I don't know if it matters, but I am a subscriber. What I want to do, however, is acknowlege the customer service department of SW:TOR. Before the collective groaning begins from some of the playerbase, please let me say my peice 'cause it makes me feel good and I want the crew at CS to feel the same. I was one of the first ones here, way back when. I bought one of the big collector box/cubes with the statue and cool books. I played for a good while, had a blast, but had to shut it down shortly after the cartel launched and it went free to play. I wanted to remain a subscriber, but couldn't afford my monthly so I just stopped. I assumed I would pick it right back up but I didn't because of life. I remember my conversation with the gentelman from customer service about a year after that, when I asked him if I could put my account on some kind of lock down to avoid it getting hacked or flushed of something. He assured me that no matter how long it would be, that all my characters and things would be waiting for me when I decided to come back. Fast forward four years later and I decided to give it another go around. With only a half remembered password, a few characters names and some shaky secrity questions and probably way more time and patience that he should have allotted me, this brilliant guy found my account. Now dont get me wrong, the praise alone that I have for CS isn't just for this occurence. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have interacted with these folks they treat me like royalty. Whether it is on the phone (hardly any waiting whatsover) or filing a ticket in game, I get massive respect afforded to me. That goes a very long way. Just last week, I had a massive problem with armor sets that came out of hypercrated packs that were already bound to me after the initial timers ran out (I never had wore them) anyway, I sent in a ticket detailing the problem, and within the few hours I was offline, it was solved. There was even a second CS represenative following up. There are more stories, not many, becasue you guys run a tight ship. But you guys across the board in Customer Service deserve some public praise by us, the players. A toast to the unsung heroes. Heres to you guys! /cheers
  14. Just returned after a very lengthy absence, so apologies if this has been suggested: I would like to suggest a token or somesuch to be able to 'unbind' one piece of gear/equipment. Ive been gone a long time so I really don't remember if something like this would be exploitable or whatever, there is a bit of ignorance here. Not any piece of gear that auto binds, just the ones that 'bind on equip'? Reason why I had this thought is that I have a character that has the Nilihus (sp) mask on her, and I wish that I could put it on a new character I had an idea for. Of if you enjoyed a piece of gear for a long time and you just want to sell it, that's not what I want, but it is an option too. Anyone smarter than me can expand on this if you like
