I'm just curious. I don't NEED those stats, just want to know. I agree that OW PVP is severely lacking in this game, but I imagine it's different on each server.

seems like two different convos going here. One focusing on going from low hp upto 40-50%. The other convo focusing on going upto 100%. All within a 30 second window. Which is it?

I would have liked to hear discussion on x,y coordinate systems and if a /waypoint feature is (or will be) available. All the other stuff in this video seemed so basic that newbs naturally discover these on their own.

Although I think it would be nice, I'm thinking BW has bigger fish to fry.

Can someone tell me if the Expertise stat has an effect in Open World PVP? Just to be clear, when I say OWPVP, I don't mean objective focused Ilum gameplay. I mean random encounters in places like Tatooine, Voss, or even the quest side of Ilum. TIA

Yes, I saw your other thread. This current thread (based on the OP) seems to focus only on WZ related issues, while your thread focused on OW PvP related issues. The moderator Arzhanin was too clueless to understand the differences and closed your thread and redirected us to this thread. How a mod can derail the OP is beyond me - it's just another indication that BW doesn't get the nuances of PvP. Apologies to the OP for this off-topic rant.

Currently, I'm a lvl 42 BH doing OW PVP on Ilum. I prey on enemy questers and I always open with a pet mez. I've had close to 100 battles so far and would like to note that win or lose, the enemy's pet stays mezzed. Most of the time. There have been about 10 fights where I noted that shortly after engaging the main player (not the pet), the enemy's pet has joined the fight. I am not doing AEs, so I know I'm not breaking the mez. I must conclude that a small portion of lvl 50s have figured out how to counter my tactic and break their pet's mez. How they are doing this, I don't know. I just know that it's being done. That means that they have either discovered an exploit (i doubt this) or that they know about some game mechanic that allows them to counter my mez because they are a better player than me. I believe this to be the case, which means I believe the OP is just ignorant of top level pvp tactics. If BW does nothing to support the OP's position, then they are sending a signal that this aspect of pvp is "as designed". Only time will tell. Or perhaps a PvPer will divulge the tactic to unmez their pet. EDIT: I just realized one other possiblity. I use Gault as my pet during these fights. My Gault has been known to attack things he should not be attacking: like friendly faction guards in friendly bases during duels. I have obeserved this only 2 or 3 times on my way upto 42. There is a small chance that this bugged Gault is breaking the mez. But I have not observed him doing this during these fights.

Perhaps you are referring to Tat. It has an area called Smuggler's Den that has some kiosks.

not sure of your level. if your just starting out, those choosing to subclass healer, get their first ones at lvl 10.

Took my 35 BH to Ilum for the first time the other night. Most disappointing experience so far in game. I was already bummed by the minimal OW PVP experiences already encountered and was hoping that Ilum would at least give me hope for lvl 50. But when I got there, I discovered that it's more like a warzone. Sucked in by marketing once again, doh!

Earlier in the game, during beta or prelaunch, there was some discussion about modding for heavy armor types. The idea was that heavy armor users were getting short changed because the mods did not keep up. Is this still an issue?
