  1. Perhaps this was the case before the change in armor penetration. Last I heard on the PTS was Snipers took a 30% hit in dps thanks to that little bit of tweaking...
  2. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=363724&page=75 Really, Really? This is the BEST you can do to overcome you're inability to understand even the most basic concepts of balancing PvP? You're solution is essentially mediocrity... Make every class bland and hollow shells that essentially have little distinction from one to the other. Taking away key, class defining abilities, (Assassins) or sundering an entire class (operatives). I really expected more from Bioware but when I read statements like this I should not be surprised. Let's be clear, ruining an entire class and player experience for not just one but multiple classes will most certainly not protect your precious subscription income. You have competition in the form of Guild Wars 2, Secret World, Tera, and though not an MMO to a lesser extent Diablo 3. Therefor, you're not really in a position to be slathering your player base in an ugly malaise of bland and mediocre game play. Stop being so narrow minded and thinking you can balance every single class from a 1v1 perspective, it doesn't work.

    PVP Team Balance

Bioware, what method are you currently using to divide teams in PvP? If it is as I think, purely random, that would not be the way to maintain healthy, consistent PvP among your player base. Perhaps you would consider an algorithm using "Expertise" as a key statistic and generating an average between the groups that is within a close approximation of one to the other. This would hopefully cut down on what so many have remarked about casually losing 10 WZ in a row followed by 3 wins or some such combination. Obviously this would have no impact on well-coordinated pre-mades using ventrilo or mumble (and nor should it), but it would go a long way for balancing the average WZ pug. Thanks
  4. Kudos on the "Benny Hill" reference!
  5. Thanks for the insight Yami, I appreciate it! Turns out you are spot on (as I discovered to my delight before returning to this thread). I just respec'd to suit the needs to the new patch and it was free, yay! To the chic who said she hoped BW would look into this "bug", you're a repiglican aren't you?
  6. I was about to say that's wonderful and good to know...however it would appear this is no longer the case. Just tried it, Mr. SKill Reset Alien requested I pay him 54k credits, I hit ok and it simply says "Not enough Credits to respec.". And apparently the Empire isn't offering any Government bail-outs so...
  7. Due to the changes in this patch that affect what charge must be active in each tree for certain talents to take affect; Induction, Raze etc, I'd like to see a point reset when such changes occur. I have two other mid-level classes (Agents) and I can't speak for every class but it seems to me Assassins respec more than most others so chances are we already have an expensive burden from this change to correct our talent line up.
