Absolutely not. This just sends the message to BioWare that we want more cartel market items - it spoils it for the majority of players who either don't have the money or don't want to spend money on virtual items. So no they shouldn't be encouraged. That's why the whole concept of "pay 2 win" is dreaded, but maybe you would like the game to go that way. I do find it funny that the only people defending the original poster are ones you can tell have spent loads on cartel packs themselves. You can call it "envy" all you like, but you're just trying to defend your gambling addiction and treat it like you don't have a problem. You do.

This probably needs to be in spoilers.. But, it's Star Wars - the good guys always win in the end. Seeing as this is set in the Old Republic we should know that anyway.

I've got it horrendous. It doesn't seem to happen to everyone, cause when I get it I can see other players have moved on.

I believe they do get Tionese commendations, but only something like 60 as opposed to the full 99, so you are put at a slight disadvantage if you're F2P.

Instead of shelling out big credits for high level armorings on the GTN, could I just purchase (for example) a Campaign armoring for the chest piece, however place it in a belt or bracer? Or does it have to be for what it's for?

Honestly, I think BioWare are being bitter about it. The CE didn't sell out or at least sell as well as they had hoped. There was a point when it was in the bargain bins at places like Walmart or some other store. I think they just want to forget about it, dust it under the rug. As a CE pre-orderer, it's annoying. But I can understand why. They likely make much more money from new Cartel Market items. I think they'd take upsetting the minority (us) to focus on that.

I don't know why you would want to. He's cool and all, but has no dialogue in conversations so you're missing out on those from your other companions and their affection gains. If they really put the effort in and gave him special dialogue for your missions (mainly class ones) + possible to gain affection with your choices rather than just through gifts, I would use him.

It's pretty easy to maintain threat as a tank now than it used to be. DPS' will take some heat. A healer shouldn't at all... unless you're not doing your job right or in a terrible group who attack a bunch of mobs but focus on one target and leave a couple undamaged just blasting away at the healer. I usually guard melee DPS, especially if they're highly geared because they do huge amounts of damage so it's easy enough for them to take threat away from me. If I overgear the rest of the group, I'd put it on the lowest geared DPS who will do some damage and will take some heat on trash mobs, sometimes strongs - they'll go down easy if the healer isn't paying attention. I suppose there are a few rare occurrences where the healer could take some damage, unrelated to threat. Such as bosses who just randomly target, AOE attacks, etc. That's the only instance where I'd put guard on a healer, but it's not often. Also, the damage redirection ONLY works in PVP. So that's moot.

I believe they know about the issue. You can just create a new character, mail it over to the one you want, and then delete the new character if you wish. Rinse and repeat if you need more.

Why should they cater for you? Many more people have not even touched Operations. Just because you're "elite", doesn't mean everyone else should be. Maybe you should move on if you're looking for more hardcore games.

Slim chance? I've opened about 6 of them and got these every time. Frankly I was surprised at how much they're going for, jumped at the chance to sell those.
