  1. But dear sir, nobody really cares about your rants and your complaints. Like WoW? Play WoW. This game has something that no other MMORPG has, and that is the storytelling. Like GW2 dynamic events, then bug off and play GW2 when it comes out, nobody wants to hear you whine. BW/EA isn't forcing you to play, they already have a healthy playerbase that is larger than what WoW had in its first 5/6 months and whose to say it won't grow. This is a great game, we don't want people like you spreading negativity everywhere WHERE THERE CAN BE FREAKIN SITH FLOWERS THAT GIVE HAPPINESS AND LOVE. :
  2. I don't know about anyone else, but after seeing the Clone Wars Cartoons(the first ones, not animated series) and watching ROTS, I think Grievous was the best villain in the movies behind Vader. Especially after his first appearance in the cartoon, I just loved him. He took out 5 Jedi and was a complete bad***. He was definitely not as cool in ROTS, but I still was amazed by his combat skills.
  3. I'm wondering because I'm trying to think of a cool Legacy name, but I can't think of any for my Mirialan Jedi. So I go to Wookipedia and search up notable Mirialan, and there are two from the Clone Wars. Is it logical to make their last name mine, as the Clone Wars takes place about 1000 years after the time of this game. Would this be breaking lore or something? Thanks.
  4. (NOTE: This is meant to be a non-serious post, about the upcoming patch, Rise of the Rakghouls.) Dear god, I thought we got rid of these on Taris! If you have no idea what I am talking about, go to the home page and watch the trailer. This is literally, Left 4 Dead SWTOR style. They'll be everywhere! And the trailer is god dang scary as well! Rakghouls are going to take over the galaxy! On a side note, am I the only one who think it would be EPIC if for the release of Rise of the Rakghouls, BW made a world event sort of like WoW's world event before the release of Wrath of the Lich king. With like, the Rakghoul virus popping up in cities and towns, and then eventually you'd turn into one. Just my 2 cents. Anyways, give your opinion on this upcoming awesome first patch! Oh yeah, and operation extension. So stop complaining about no endgame and have fun :3 Cheers and Cherries, JackEpical
  5. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this or has cared, but in SWTOR, their are about 5 death animations for every regular mob. Some people really don't care, but in WoW I was so tired of the same animation. If you explode a bomb under someone to kill them, they are going to go flying back, not just lay down. This is one of the immersion feat ures I really love about SWTOR. Anyone else agree? Or is it just me?
  6. Please, please pleeeaaase allow other players onto our ships. The potential for RP on your ship is so large, I can't even describe it. I was extremely disappointed when my buddy couldn't get through the forcefield to the hangar. And even better, it would be a private place for ERPers to go so they wouldn't disrupt cantinas and make a new Goldshire-Moon Guard server. Please BW, allow this.
  7. On my server(Ven Zallow, fun community so far) I and a Jedi Consular named started RPing. We were both level 16 and started discussing the defense of Republic trade routes. Then we figured we should start up some RP on Tython, so we flew there and went to the Jedi Temple. We invited Padawans to come train, and went under the guise that Grand Master Shatele Shan, although we were only Knights, granted us the ability to train Padawans. So after gathering a bunch of Padawans( People with the title on) we went over the importance of following the Jedi Code. After that, I personally dueled each Padawan, and then set them up to duel each other. Throughout the duels, there were RP emotes like "Padawan Staype backed up and rethought his strategy in facing Padawan Kalmoa, as he was breathing heavily" Altogether it was a very fun experiance, and I made a lot of friends most importantly. I then said that I had recieved an urgent message from Corsucant, and left Kitara to train the Padawans while I had to go. Very fun time.
  8. I welcome all to the RP-PVP East Coast US Server Ven Zallow. In game I am Tor'ez, and have been a bit of a community leader I guess you could say on Ven Zallow Republic Side. I personally lead the raid to kill the world boss in Coruscant for the server first kill, but that isn't the point. Ven Zallow has a wonderful RP and PVP community, and I invite people to come join it. An example is that me and Kitara do RP Jedi Training on Tython, were we invite young Padawans to duel and then test them. So come join the Ven Zallow community!
  9. I'm watching Attack of the Clones while waiting in queue, Revenge of the Sith is on after, and after that a New Hope. Makes being in a queue much more bareable, I suggest people doing the same. Especially since New Hope is gonna be on. Its on Spike TV btw. Good for if you just want some Star Wars stuff while waiting. Been seeing SWTOR commercials too.
  10. Vaapad. Although it was created far after the time of TOR, I like how Windu fights.
  11. Not sure if anyone really cares what you think. This is an amazing game and I'm pretty sure you are just a whiny little brat. Bye! Nobody will miss you! Just 1 less in the que lines and 1 less QQer.
  12. /SIGNED I remember when I first heard about this game I saw on Game Info or something saying "Then there are PVP servers. Unlike PVE servers, on PVP servers, you are always at risk everywhere. Are you a bounty hunter who's goal is to hunt down a certain Jedi? Are you a Trooper protecting the republic from Imperial Agents? Are you a Sith who just has a hatred for the Republic? Well, on PVP servers, you can do just that. Attack players from the enemy faction anywhere, but always watch your back!" I don't think it was worded exactly like that, but that is what made me preorder SWTOR. I'm not going to not play if there isn't World PVP, but World PVP would be AWESOME. I remember in WoW when Alliance attacked The Crossroads during Vanilla, all the level 60 Horde were trying to figure out a plan before the Alliance could get more players to stage an attack on org from Crossroads. We even sent lowbies in to see how many there were. We then held them at the gates of Orgrimmar, and pushed them back. Taking back Crossroads, they retreated to that marsh with the Alliance city. That is called World PVP. And you can't forget Hillsbrad.
  13. Saw 5 commercials on Spike last night during Episode 2 Since they are having a marathon, I don't find it coincidental that there are going to be a lot of TOR commercials.
