  1. With a blank look in his wide eyes, he hugs his knees to his chest at his seat by the computer while gently rocking back and forth, mumbling, "This is not a bad omen for KotFE coming out this week. This is not a bad omen for KotFE coming out this week. This is not a bad omen for KotFE coming out this week. This is not a bad omen for KotFE coming out this week. This is not a bad omen for KotFE coming out this week. This is not a bad omen for KotFE coming out this week..."
  2. I think that this is a huge mistake in Bioware's marketing and community relations strategy. Let alone that Bioware employees previously stated that the Alliance system would be revealed closer to release and not actually on release day (yes, I know that the 20th is actually early release, but that is really just splitting hairs since we can reasonably assume most subscribers have been subbed long enough to have early access anyway). Speaking for myself, the thing I have been most looking forward to learning about since KOTFE was first mentioned is the Alliance system. All the other stuff sounds great and all, but it was the new companions/alliance system that made me really want to stick around and keep playing and I doubt I am the only one staying/coming back for story and the companions that go with that story. I'm not looking for story spoilers, but I would like to know more about what other things we can do to gain "Influence" with companions since that is replacing affection. Also, are there any new limitations on companions, like how many we can have total or how many we can have deployed on crew skills at level 65 or are those numbers the same as they are now on our current, level 60 characters? Are companion crew skill modifiers on critical and efficiency affected with this new system? Is there anything new that will affect critical and efficiency on missions aside from influence, like maybe some kind of new stim or adrenal or situational buff? What are these contact companions we saw on the alliance window in the livestream and how are they different from our current companions? How are class companions, the new KOTFE companions, contacts, and other companions like Treek or the Akk Dog all different from each other? Will any old companions that were not previously romancable become romancable (Scourge, Zenith, etc.) or suddenly romancable by same gender characters (for example, femknight and Kira) and can we kill/ditch any of them, if we so choose (Only knowing a yes or no that these possibilities exists is good enough)? And if we can kill companions off/ditch them, will we get confirmation notices in the game to keep us from accidentally making a choice we didn't mean to? What about companion abilities? Are any unique abilities and animations going away? Maybe I want to know if I only have a few more days left to enjoy the unique ability animations of Holiday, Blizz, or Lokin if they are going away next week. These are all things I wanted to know before I download the expansion and I know that from talking with other players that I am not the only one. Getting this information the same time I am logging into the game means that I will not be reading articles and will instead be playing with the system and figuring it all out on my own. But you know what; those media sites that would have otherwise gotten my clicks to read their articles won't now because I will have no need to read their stuff since I can do it on my own. I won't even need to come here to see what the devs have to say on the matter either because I would rather play with the alliance stuff myself than read about it. Sure that is great, but Bioware, you are not helping the swtor community/fan sites/news sites with these articles by making them wait to the effective release date of the expansion to release their articles since players will be either playing it already or learning from other players what the new system has to offer.
  3. Just looking for a yes or a no here - not a who - but will any of our old companions, who we were not previously able to romance (for example, Scourge, Zenith, Pierce, or Talos), now have the option to romance? Also, will any of the old companions become same gender romances (again, not looking for story spoilers, just want a yes or no)?
  4. Actually, it is that fact that gives me hope. "Empire" in her post could mean the Zakuul Empire. Also, who is to say that the force-sensitive Raina Temple did not end up getting saved from the Zakuul forces and trained by a Jedi while we were in a carbonite coma? Temple could end up helping us unite sith empire and republic against Zakuul, the eternal empire, after we find her again. We already know that we are supposed to form alliances with various smaller factions to fight against the overwhelming threat of Zakuul in the expansion.
  5. My Jedi Guardian Khalyssa: Ready for action! Prepared for aggressive negotiations. Party time!
  6. Thranta Nexu Riding a Gundark like we can a rancor might be cool. Also, I can't think of any in-universe Star Wars critter, but something that slithers like a snake would be cool. I would like to ride on those three-legged walkers that we see on Imperial Balmorra and Corellia standing around as decorations. I think one of the missions on Correllia (can't remember which side of the conflict) even has us shooting them up with a rocket launcher. Also, any walker that has an enclosed cockpit would be cool. I would also support the idea of a randomizing mount button, maybe as a legacy unlock.
  7. If you don’t want to speculate on the future of companions in Knights of the Fallen Empire, then this thread is not for you. “You don’t need to see his identification … These aren’t the droids you’re looking for … He can go about his business … Move along.”  SPOILERS lie ahead for the rest of the thread. You have been warned! (Also, just in case you can’t read tone on the internet, my post – as lengthy as it is – is tongue in cheek. Just sayin’, so don’t go getting all bent out of shape because my statements are something you don’t agree with. This whole thing is about speculation and opinions that only take some facts into consideration to support those opinions.) After Knights of the Fallen Empire hits the servers, our relationships with our companions will not be the same by the time we hit Chapter 3. I have been wondering about which companions may stay with our characters, which we will have a falling out with, who might just die off or move on without any drama or fanfare when we are gone, and which “fan favorite” companions are most likely to have a major role as an NPC that might get recruited by other classes. I don’t for a moment believe that any class will be able to recruit from any and all of the 40 class companions, even if they do make some of the companions cross-faction recruit-able. I think most of what we might end up with regarding the future of our companions can be broadly defined in terms of “voted most likely to” categories seen in many high school yearbooks. So, I think we can split them into 3 broad categories with a 4th one where we can say whether or not we think a given companion might be more important to the overall Outlander story going forward, as has been revealed by the writers/developers at BioWare. I know not everyone is into this kind of speculation and probably don’t even care about companions. But, I figured enough of us do enjoy this aspect of the game that BioWare is making it a focus for Fallen Empire and that this might make for a fun exorcise while we wait for it to hit the servers in October. This is kind of like a survey, after a fashion, so I will set up the criteria for the categories for those of us who want to guess away at the fates of our companions in Fallen Empire. First of all, this is more of a, “What do you think WILL happen?” as opposed to a, “What so we WANT to happen?” scenario. In this kind of speculation, some baseline assumptions need to be made up front. I know a lot of this is probably over-generalizing the choices made in the game by these classes and that there are plenty of dark jedi and light sith, but we should probably go with the idea that a greater number of characters are going to have made decisions that BioWare may have considered as “default” choices for their given class (i.e. Sith choose dark side decisions in most cases, Jedi light, agents and troopers choose to follow the callings of their duty, and bounty hunters and smugglers profit-oriented and horn-dog decisions (okay, maybe not quite so hedonistic, but, thankfully, you haven’t seen my smuggler in action). I think it has already been stated in the latest information to come out that there is a possibility that our romances could go seriously wrong and we might end up fighting/losing them if we make that choice, so I won’t be considering that as a most likely option and will, instead, consider that most folks who pursued romances may still want to preserve them (I know that plenty won’t, but I have to assume some kind of a base line for purposes of this thread). Please don’t leave out any companions when addressing the companions of a given class that you care to talk about. I will not be including the possible new companions as we already know we will have the opportunity to recruit them if we want to; this thread is about the old story companions. Likewise, I will not be adding HK-51 or Treek to these deliberations because they are already separate from our class stories and do not have any opinion on what happens in those class stories – also, they were most likely purchased using real money by most of us and I don’t think BioWare is going to risk making an awful lot of us angry by taking them away from us. I think that, somehow, those two will be in our future stories if we paid for them. Also, one last thing, I would like you to consider Jaesa to be two separate characters – Light Jaesa and Dark Jaesa – because, well… they are. Now, for the categories and the rule that I just know all of you do not care about and will not follow - You can only place any given companion in a single category. The only exception is the last category (see below for the reason why). Please speak up if you think there is a category that I have overlooked and really should be included and is not accounted for by one of these other categories. Most of all, have fun with the speculation! Also, if you have the time, please share your reasoning with the rest of the class. That is what can make this a fun thread. You don’t have to write an essay like I did, but just give us some food for thought or a simple statement as to why you think that way. Who know, you may have thought of something we have not considered, even if it does seem obvious to you and you think it is to everyone else… because it might not be obvious to me (I’m kind of dumb like that because I am not a mind reader).  Special mention: I think that these could be categories, but they are more just theory-crafting and we don’t know about these happening to any companions yet, if at all (no matter how much many of us might want to see these happen). I think these are better suited to being listed as possible reasons for supporting entries into other categories. - Previously un-flirt-able companion that might become a romantic option going forward (Scourge, Light Jaesa, Zenith, etc.). - Corrupt/Redeem Jedi/Sith for those who want to redeem Jaesa and/or Ashara or convert any of the other Jedi or Sith out there. - Scorned Lovers who have a bad breakup with you and either fight you to the death or abandon you forever; either way you are out a companion and a romance and are most likely gaining something blue that is not a new Chiss or Twi’lek companion… Most likely to be Forgotten: This category is for the companions that are probably the least popular (at least, according to BioWare) and may very well get overlooked or forgotten in terms of importance to the story going forward. These companions are probably going to move on, get transferred to a distant outpost, find a new master to serve, or even die in some meaningless battle while we were in our cold, carbonite nap. Alternately, the writers could give these companions a cool and meaningful death or fate worse than death that inspires and motivates our characters going forward. Either way, it’s the same result – they are no longer with us. The writers probably know we don’t use or like these companions very much, so when writing the new material they might have been thinking, “Why push this companion on the players when they have new, shiny companions and old, dog-eared, popular companions I can foist upon them.” My choices for this category are: I don’t have any sith or jedi in this category because, personally, I think they are considered to be absolute power-houses in-story and they are ignored at peril by others in the setting and the extreme passion and/or duty-bound, conscientious nature of these companions means that they will take some sort of meaningful action in the story and not just stand by doing nothing to impact the greater story. Also, almost all of them are romance options and I don’t think romance options are going to fall into this category, either; especially since it would alienate a large portion of the players BioWare is claiming to cater to with Fallen Empire. Qyzen – Honestly, I would rather Iresso be in this category, but because he was a romance option I don’t think he could end up here. While I like Qyzen well enough, I have seen many who disparage him quite often and I do not think he is popular, at all. What does he really bring to the table story-wise? Not much. Of all the consular companions, I think Qyzen is most likely to get killed on a hunt or something. Rusk – Who? Smuggler: I really can’t think of a smuggler companion that fits here, even if I do want Corso to take this slot. Alas, Corso is a romance option, so I don’t think he will end up here. Also, I heard some folks like him. IKR? Yuun – The most unremarkable, yet ugly kid in the squad. I like him as a mystical tracker guy, but he is otherwise unremarkable and his chatter doesn’t help to liven him up. Because of his unpopularity with many players, I could see him getting transferred to another cold rock of a planet. Gault – I was really torn on this one. I actually quite like him, but I realize that a lot of folks never use him (I don’t think I have ever seen anybody with him out as a companion anywhere in the game) and I have read accounts of folks hating on him. I think he could be good to bring back for story reasons because of his background, but if I have to pick one of the Bounty Hunter companions, this would have to be the one that might just leave our Bounty Hunter and never look back. Lokin – Let’s face it, this guy is kind of blah, despite a really neat Jeckyll and Hyde spliced with Secret Agent story. I don’t really see him making much of a splash when we get out of carbonite, either. Besides, how old is he? Will he even be around after another 5 years? Won’t he be due for hip replacement by then? Talos – I kind of like the fuddy-duddy, but I have seen a lot of folks disparage him and wished they had a different healer. Also, aside from some humor he is kind of a bland character story-wise, I think. He might end up as a permanent addition to some newly discovered, ancient tomb or, at least, is more likely to than some other sith inquisitor companion. Broonmark – Okay, this creepy psycho monster is rarely seen out as an active companion in my experience and I really don’t see any value added from his presence in the sith warrior’s story and I never did. He always felt tacked on to me, even if I do like his look as token alien companion #3 for the cantina in my stronghold. Pierce – Bland, brute of a soldier will most likely get some other assignment if he survived the war with Zakuul. Most likely to (get) Betray(-ed by) us: These are the companions we, as players, KNOW will betray us or, at least, can easily envision a scenario where they turn on us. Or maybe, just maybe, we want to turn on them. I can guess right now that a certain companion from a certain imperial class will end up here in a lot of posts on this thread (if anybody even cares to participate in this with me). My choices for this category are: Zenith – I could see Zenith turning against me for trying to make nice with the empire; only he would see it as my consular betraying him, first. Scourge – Does anybody really believe this guy won’t betray the Knight at some point? See more of my reasoning on this guy below in the last category. Guss – Guss is awesome and, I find, quite funny! He is easily one of my favorite companions in the game, but he is also a coward with a history of running away from trouble and responsibility. Out of all the companions that the smuggler has, Guss is the one who I could see betraying you by running away in a bad situation and leaving you to rot. I hope not, but I could see it and if I had to pick one… Tanno – He is great for a dark trooper companion, but is otherwise a nuisance for most troopers from what I have seen, unless they are armormech crafters. Also, the voice actor died, which, according to many on the forums, seems to presage his demise as a character in the story. Other than that stuff, he isn’t terribly memorable to me. However, he is the one member of the team that you know is always looking out for number one. I could see him being the most predictable team member to turn traitor. Skadge – This is, as far as I know, the most hated companion in the game. To the best of my knowledge he has no fans. I mean, at least Quinn has some fans out there that were willing to forgive him, but Skadge is the most reviled by far. I think the universe will be better off without him. He is as likely to be betrayed as he is to do the deed first, himself. Kaliyo – Come on, you know it’s true. She even did it already, right? Scorpio – I can’t limit this choice to just one in this case. Scorpio has even stated this as her intent, right? She might grudgingly respect you now, but you know she is just biding her time until she can change that programming… Besides, a story about secret agents should have more betrayals than other stories, right? Xalek – Khem might have said he will eat us some day, but I swear he has been one of the most loyal companions in the game, despite that. Xalek though, is the classic sith apprentice waiting for his chance to strike as soon as he senses weakness from you and we all know that a carbonite coma is not exactly a proclamation of strength, nor are you teaching him anything new like that. He will move on to another teacher/master and betray his way up to the dark council as fast as he can. That is, if he didn’t betray us for Zakuul somehow. Maybe he is the reason they were able to sneak onto the ship and put us to sleep to begin with. Quinn – You know you want to. Feel the hatred. Take up your lightsaber and… Sure, he is romancable and those who want to will probably have the chance to keep that going, but so many people want to be able to kill him off that I thought he belonged here rather than in a more loyal category, because, you know, there is a line to betray this guy going around the corner at this point and the developers would have to be fools to not give us the option to kill him off at this point in the game, right? Right? Light Jaesa – Her whole reason for joining you was to help you take on the empire from within, right? Well, if your not there she has to keep on fighting the good fight somehow. I think she will most likely just leave us to rot (us being dark siders, most likely, as sith warriors) if we can’t fulfill that purpose. If we are light-sided, though her story tune might be different. (Light side Jaesa romance, anyone?) Most likely to Return to your side: You know this guy is coming back for more; a real glutton for punishment. This companion is most like those pets and animated appliances in the movies that will always seek out and find their master. This is your tried and true companion, whether you want them to be or not. You have a hard time seeing this companion not coming back to you when you wake up from your carbonite coma. In fact, you are probably wondering why they aren’t knitting something for you at your bedside when you wake up. Maybe you just think they are really popular for whatever reason and believe that when the developers talk about fan-favorites returning, this is one of them. My choices for this category are: Iresso – Romancable, so I think he is coming back, even if he does bore me. Nadia – I don’t think she is all that popular, but she is a romance option already, so I think the developers need to bring her back for the players that want to keep that going or who want to end it officially in order to move on to a more mature-looking romance option, like Lana, maybe a new SGR option we don’t know about yet, or maybe even that Vaylin character we saw preview images of (though, it does appear she starts as a baddie, if we even get her as a companion at all). T7-01 – I don’t know if he is a fan favorite or not, but the writers seemed to have loved him enough to make him mandatory to the class story. He might come back as a cross-faction companion so that everyone can get their mits on an “iconic” astromech for their Star Wars story. Kira – She is both popular and a romance option already, so I think the developers have to bring her back for that alone or risk open rebellion. Doc – Romancable, so I think he is coming back, even if he does creep me out (and I’m a hetero male saying this. I can’t imagine how the ladies feel about this dude!) Corso - Romancable, so yeah, he’ll be back. Risha – Romancable, so I think her return is a solid bet, even if she does want to kill you for all your cheating ways. Though, she might like the shoe being on a different foot if she learns about you and Theron. Akavi – Romancable, so she is a lock-in to return. However, I think she could get angry enough to kill you if she finds out you have been hanging with Lana. I don’t know how she will react if she finds out you have been hanging out at the pub with Theron, though. Jorgan – Romancable, so I think his return is a lock. Elara – Romancable, so yeah, she’ll be back. M1-4X – How could you even question his loyalty to the Republic? He is practically leaking patriotic fluids. However, if he were somehow reprogrammed... Mako – She is popular and a romance option, so, of course she is returning. Torian – Because of romance reasons and the whole mandalorian thing. He and Akavi are the only mandos we have for companions and the Fallen Empire information released so far mentioned gaining favor with a pro-mandalorian faction. Blizz – Come on, you know he’s coming back! He is just too cute not to! He was the only real cute, small-packaged jabberer of nonsense we had before Treek came along and I would rather go ****-jawa before going hetero-ewok. Besides, I’m just not into the whole furry thing, Treek. Also, how awesome would it be to have Blizz on other class toons?! But, yeah, I think he is coming back because he is considered a fan-favorite by the developers. Vector – The ultimate team player, nice guy, and all around yes-man and diplomat. Also, romance options. Temple – Pretty naïve sometimes and just so gosh-darn cute and loyal. Khem Val – Loyal carnivore is loyal. Besides, he won’t touch you when you’re full of too much iron. Look how long he waited for his last master. I don’t think he is a quick learner, either. Besides, he owes you for siding with him against Zash. What’s that? You took Zash’s side… better watch your back dude. Andronikos – Romancable, so I think his return is a safe bet. Ashara – Romancable, so I think she is set to return, but she could quite easily be a turncoat, too if you haven’t been telling her enough bedtime stories and not romancing her. Vette – She is popular and a romance option, so, of course she is returning. Though, I can think of a case for her not being in this category for those Sith Warriors that never took off her slave collar; in that case, I think she would be ready to betray them at the first opportunity. Also, I am kind of hoping she gets an SGR option in Fallen Empire. My female SW hates Quinn after his betrayal and would easily be susceptible to her BFF, Vette, trying to convert her to that particular dark side option. Dark Jaesa – Okay, yeah I know she is a psycho, but so are so many of the sith warriors who romanced her. So you’re perfect together! Besides, she said that if you cheat on her she’ll just kill the other woman and not you. What price is loyalty so strong that you do wrong and she kills another in order to keep you? In fact she seemed disappointed that you didn’t apparently cheat on her that time. Maybe now that Lana is in your life, you can make dark Jaesa happy. Now, I’m not saying it’ll be a happy or sane relationship, but how many sith relationships really are? Most likely to have a Role in the Outlander story (for you and other classes): This is the last category and is the only one you can have a companion from another category duplicated in (even though in most instances it will probably be the Return category and will most likely not have a duplicate from the Forgotten category). This is the companion you believe that no matter what decisions your characters have made in the past, this guy or gal is going to make a splash with the story going forward, because… it would be really cool/they have connections to other class companions/have a unique or special skill or quality/why not? I think it’s best to try and limit this to one companion per class; which one is most likely to be in a breakout guest star role for the new story… if I had to just pick one, it would be… That isn’t to say that there couldn’t be more – just that it gets proportionately less likely for each companion going down the line in each class. My choices for this category are: Jedi Consular: Theron – He is the big, brainy, childish, xeno-whatsit-scientist who we are going to need to figure out the ancient, technological, doodad-macguffin-thingy-whatchamacallit that will be instrumental in… Yeah, he is a plot device character, but a plot device character that fills a niche in the companion line-up that only Lokin, Scorpio, Zash-possessed Khem, and Talos come close to filling. The catch is that while they come close none of them are experts in ancient tech like he is. Zash-Khem is too iffy for determining to be cannon, Lokin is focused more on biological expertise, Talos on ancient lore and archaeology – not tech, and Scorpio, while a good slicer, lacks the focus on ancient tech that I think could become important when looking to get results out of some ancient device in the fight against the new threat. Also, I just can’t see the consular’s other companions becoming so important to both empire and republic in the new story line. YMMV. But, it would be nice if a sith PC could corrupt Nadia… Jedi Knight: Scourge – This was a hard pick for me, but I have to go with Scourge because of his ties to both Empire and now Republic (through you). He could be someone to assist the Outlander to bring both sides together against the new threat to the galaxy. Even if he is reluctant to, we know he couldn’t ignore this new threat to both factions, because he helped the Republic against the previous threat to the galaxy. Doc’s connection to Kaliyo makes me want to go with him and it would be cool if I could tempt Kira to the dark side with a Sith character. But, I think Scourge is more likely to make the cut, if he isn’t killed in a cut-scene first. Smuggler: Bowdaar – Because, well… everybody wants a wookiee (because they are iconic for Star Wars) and I think he is perhaps one of the most popular smuggler companions. Sure, others are popular, but I could foresee a situation where Bowdaar could, despite his pro-Republic/anti-empire attitude, work for an old empire-affiliated character after Zakuul invades and enslaves him after the smuggler’s incapacitation and is freed by an imperial Outlander, thereby incurring life-debt. Aside from that, I can’t really figure on picking out a smuggler companion that works better for story; except for maybe Akavi (But, she is too anti-empire, I think, to work effectively in a role that might span the existing factions and I can’t think of a plot device to make her work for an imperial character that is as binding and as exception-to-policy-making as a wookiee’s life-debt.) Note: I almost want to go with Risha, too, because of her connection to Vette and other underworld figures, but since I can only pick one… Trooper: Elara – Yeah, maybe M1-4X could have been reprogrammed or something, but as things stand at the moment with what little we know, the character with the most potential to help the Outlander get an alliance of empire and republic forces going against Zakuul from the Troopers crew has got to be Elara because she originally came from the old empire and is familiar with both republic and imperial militaries. She could do well in a liaison capacity (after everyone gets over her past betrayal of the empire, I know). I know she might not be as popular as other romanced companions and healers, but personally, I loved her and keep wanting to tempt the rule-loving, ice-queen into letting her hair down. Bounty Hunter: Torian – I think we need a mandalorian to help with our chances of bringing a mando faction into our alliance against Zakuul and I think Torian is the guy for the job. He is the sure way to make certain we have a Mandalorian connection in game to that faction. Akavi could do it, too, but I have already outlined the reasons I think she won’t make the cut. Imperial Agent: Kaliyo – Pure and simple, Kaliyo has connections. She knows Doc and a ton of other NPCS from her days doing all kinds of sundry and sinful things in her past. I am sure there are still a lot of connections she has to underworld bosses would could use in the fledgling alliance the Outlander will supposedly have to be forging. Personally, I loathe her (I have 3 male, imperial agents and I still have yet to have one romance her), but I think she will be the one to make the cut for story and plot reasons. Sith Inquisitor: Ashara – She will make for a great ambassador between the Jedi and the Sith, being a fallen Jedi herself who claims to not want to abandon those teachings, while still working for the Sith. Sure, Andronikos has a past as a pirate and as a member of the Republic military, but I think we need a companion who can help us bring together Jedi and Sith and with Elara already there to help between the Republic and Imperial militaries we need a force-user to help bring all those lightsabers to the alliance table to make a lightsaber rainbow. Sith Warrior: Vette – She has underworld and pirate connections in her past, as well as now having a history with the empire’s Wrath. Her connections could really help out with forming the alliance and I think she makes for a less polarizing figure in that light than the other Sith Warrior companions. It would also be nice if other Outlander classes could romance her sans shock collar issues. Also, her (and Kaliyo) could possibly be found anywhere during the story given her tendencies towards less than lawful proclivities. Plus, Jaesa is a more difficult choice to make in this criteria As you can see, my considerations for this category focused primarily on who could serve to further the story, while also being a good bridge companion to help the Outlander unite both factions against the new Zakuul threat. Now, if it turns out that we cannot recruit old companions across factions, then my whole case logic is screwed… Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the read and have fun with your posts; I know I did! Hey, I had to do something with my day instead of the same old clicking refresh on my Star Wars news feed button and finding the same old nothing new. This is why obsessions like this are called an addiction, I guess. 
  8. I just found this site. I don't know how legit it is, but most of the information on it does pan out with news from other sites (which this site acknowledges). However, there is new information here, too. The problem is that I think this site is translated by Google or something, so there are some weird phrases. I have figured out the following from context and news from other sites: recreation = new enlargement = expansion degree = level skill = talent elegance = class tale = story partners = companions spouse = romancable companion gaggle = group (I think) Anyway, here is the new information (mixed with some of the older stuff we learned yesterday) copied from the site: Upcoming recreation options with recreation enlargement four.0, SWTOR: Knights of the Fallen Empire Common new options Degree cap raised to sixty five In a position to create an wireless degree 60 One new skill for each and every complex elegance Crafting raised to 550 New elegance particular tales that hook up with the primary tale Primary center of attention of SWTOR is tale and unmarried participant revel in New Per month subscriber bonuses (pieces, decorations) New tale updates each and every 3 weeks to be had most effective to subscribes or accessible with Cartel cash Partners One new spouse for each and every participant personality o You get to make a choice your spouse out of a couple of attainable probabilities (3 choices to make a choice from) o The partners are utterly new characters presented within the enlargement and also you have interaction with them throughout the tale prior to you select one PVE new operations presented in four.0 o In a position to be performed solo for tale objective or as a gaggle (8 or sixteen folks) Three new planets presented within the enlargement with new day by day spaces o Planets are small (assume Oricon/Ziost measurement) The operations happen inside of the similar space and environment. Perhaps someone else can tackle that? Maybe "trail" means flashpoint?
  9. I remember seeing in one of the livestream conversations where they stated that the Cathar were successful, as well. I also remember they started stating things about having to work on clipping issues for any other races they might develop before they get released. If they didn't actually state it, then i think they implied that new races were not a priority for the time being and it would be a little while before we saw anything more on that front. I think they want to address other issues in game first.
  10. I support the OP's idea for a barber shop.
  11. I like this idea and I have actually considered an idea similar to this for companions that Bioware has actually already started doing. I just wish they would take it further. The concept I mean is the companion customizations. Use them to make our companions into different species. They already do it to a degree with some companions. For example, Jaesa is a human, but they made a cyborg customization for her in the game. Why not do something like this for the other companions? We could get a Chiss customization for Elara Dorne, a Zabrak Doc, a Miralan Mako, a Rattataki Andronikus, a Miraluka Kira, or any other number of customizations that don't differ too much from their personal stories. Bioware is already doing it; they just haven't taken it as far as I am proposing.
  12. I would LOVE this! I like to do crafting, but always get irritated at how long some of the missions take when you get high skill level with missions for your companions. I have dreamed of being able to have them do missions while I am not actually on the game by either something like what the OP proposes or by somehow queuing missions up for the companions. Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to do these things, if they are even possible, and even if they are they are probably against the Terms of Service or something. I would love it if Bioware would implement something like this to queue crafting missions, check mail, and/or shop the GTN. My only concern about this idea, at least for just the crafting part, is that it would disrupt the balance of the game if I am running slicing missions on all my alts every time I go on break while at work or otherwise not at my computer and playing the game live. Wouldn't that be an unfair advantage for credit farming? Would that hurt the game economy?
  13. I like Captain the best because that is the title I use on my main pub toon, who is a gunslinger smuggler named Mal. In no particular order, I also like: Darth Lord Master First Line of Defense Founder The Unyielding Baroness Knight of Alderaan Black Bisector Silver Acute The Crime Lord (on my dark side smuggler) Republic Privateer Keeper of Truth Heartless The Space Pirate Outlaw The Stalwart The Merciless Party Time Barsen'thor Big Time Grand Champion of the Great Hunt Cipher Agent Throne Breaker Rider of the Maelstrom
  14. I plan on doing this with earnings from my dailies for my son, who opened a f2p account. But first, I will have him subscribe for a month to get the preferred status. Then, I will get him whatever I can. Only then, after all that, will we spend real money on the carel shop, if needed.
