  1. So your suggestion is to rip out the Mods and Enh from the WH gear into my existing Columi? Anyway, here's a fairly up to date gearlist for my Merc think I need to work on my Surge and I could also improve the Armoring & mods for the Belt and bracers, My Accuracy is slightly above where I need to be, and I think I'm ok on Crit with buffs. I think my Power is a tad low though. Wondering how else can I improve/tweak my gear while hoping for upgrades and not breaking the bank (alas I don't have a few million creds to burn on upgrades)
  2. Thanks for your input. So does this mean that it is desirable to equip WH gear until I can replace it with Campaign/BH equivalent even if it means ignoring set bonuses (and provided I can meet the recommended stats as best possible i.e. 100% Acc, 30+%Crit, 75% Surge)?
  3. Sooo, I lead to understand that in SWTOR, PvP gear is an acceptable way to gear for jumping into Operations. I know the Armouring, Mods & Enh are equiv to Black Hole/Campaign level, but wouldn't the gears' stat budget be wasted on Expertise and End? I'm just wondering for Arsenal Mercs... The Warhero 2 pc bonus (reduced Jetboost) is marginally beneficial in PvE, especially in Ops. 4 pc IIRC is the crit on Railshot (which ain't bad I suppose) though the Eliminator's 4 pc bonus for free rail shots might be better in the long run?!? I'm in mostly Columi and starting to get some Black Hole pieces and hopefully get some runs for Rakata or better soon. Just gotten the WH Chest, and might probably grind out the WZ comms for the rest of the set if I can. Could someone explain or point me to some theorycraft or discussion that explains why PvP makes sense for a PvE-centric Merc? Thanks!
  4. The early access should just be extended to all pre-orders, if need be, sweeten the deal abit for those pre Jan 7th pre-orders, afterall, they've already got our $$ so why shouldn't we get the access and be able to download the content earlier? Freebies are icing, and the trainer would be nice for alts, especially if its an account-wide gift and not just one unit per account (Bound on Legacy I'd imagine)
  5. The one with the Orange strip on the head sounds like the Traditional Nylite sythweaving set that I'm running with now.
  6. Sounds cool. Alas, i didn't choose the Saber Marshal's robe reward from the Revanite quest... ( Whatt faux pas rite?) My Assassin's a female body type 2 I believe.Male Body type 3 is probably too bulky for the Revan-ish look...
  7. Thanks for the offer. PM replied. Will look for ya in-game.. Cheers!
  8. Yeah, I'm toying with the idea of doing combined guild runs with other guild too if its mutually beneficial. But we'll see how it goes. Not looking to blow up this guild I have now, or broker a merger quite yet.
  9. I believe the quest is the Heroic Blood and Sand on Tatooine While one that you can get easily solo on Alderaan is First, do harm it awards moddable helmets according to your class as an option, TORheadis wrong as it doesn't award belts. Its almost the same look as the one off the last boss in Cademinu which I'm rockin now.
  10. Chest is Columi/Rakata... not sure about the Helmet, but it could be a unify color deal there to make it look like a set.
  11. if you really like all black and not looking too BH-like.. there's always the Phantom set from Cartel packs and found on the GTN.
  12. Seeing as how most of the Endgame (or eldergame as BW seems to want to call it) Helmets from Ops is rather meh in terms of looks, (hate the fin on the Tionese/Columi/Rakata) the only one that's decent is maybe the Black Hole one and perhaps the War Hero hear/gear. What other cool Helmets that you guys are equipping for aesthetic reasons? I'm thinking of going with Hutt Cartel Helmet which I think would suit my Cyborg BH quite well and would be something slightly different.
  13. Contemplating this myself on my Merc. I'm led to understand that the Black Nebula has a better sounding "boom" firing sound than the whimpier (IMO) pew pew of a lot of blasters?
  14. Hey Dalborra Been playing this game for the last 5-6 weeks or so and enjoying it for the most part. I used to raid fairly often in WoW and really having the itch to get back into raiding/ops on a semi-regular basis. I'm all about PvE though, so PvP ain't my cup of tea. While the obvious solution would be to find a guild that does ops regularly, however, I have been handed the reins of the guild I'm in now while the original GM has some RL issues to take care of. So I'm not quite looking to join a guild in that sense. As for LFG and PUGs...only managed to get on one PUG for SM KP in the 3+weeks I've been at level 50. The Gree event isn't helping matters it seems, even the usual daily HM Fp LFG takes so much longer to pop ever since the Gree event's been on (understandable to a point) What I'm looking for basically, if anyone can point me towards some friendly guilds/groups who have weekly Ops/World Bosses SM/HMs runs (EV/KP/TFB/EC) that might have an open Ranged DPS slot or even able to fit me and some of my guild 50s (depending on timing and availability) to some Ops runs. I'd prefer an organised group with Vent/Mumble/Teamspeak for raiding so that I can hope to walk out of the runs with my sanity intact... My idea is to explore and experience the content so that should the time come, I would be able to lead my own runs as I'm levelling an 'Sin Tank to 50 with the intent of running Ops groups in the near future. I'm on GMT+8 timezone though my timing is fairly flexible and would probably be able to accommodate NZ/AEST raid times if it comes down to it. Please let me know who to talk to in-game if possible, failing which, guild suggestions? Thanks and look forward to your comments, guys/gals!
  15. There's a Guild Liason? And why aren't we banging his/her door down with the current laughable state of Guilds in SWTOR?
