  1. For me it wasn't about me being banned, but everyone else whom may have been banned unintentionally or due to a mistake. I can take a hit or two and roll with the punches, my tolerance for it in regards to myself is high. As you can note in all my posts, not once did I mention my banning. It was always about others, which is because if I feel someone's being punished unfairly, I want to get that fixed as soon as possible, regardless of the cost to myself.
  2. This was the message I received. Dear XXXXXXXXX, Account Name XXXXXXXX Email address: XXXXXXXXXXXX We are contacting you regarding the action that has been taken on your account. We have now completed an investigation on the sanction applied. After reviewing your case, we have concluded that this sanction should be removed. We will take great care to ensure that this does not occur again in the future. As a goodwill gesture, we have added 3 days of game time to your account. We regret any inconvenience caused by this issue. Yours sincerely, Star Wars ™: The Old Republic™ Terms of Service
  3. Are people also ignoring those who did not transfer anything and got banned? Or are they just kind of ignoring that part of the problem? The fact is, the longer this goes on, the more subs Bioware loses for this game.
  4. Has there been any update from Bioware or anyone about this at all?
  5. Unknown at this time, as the reasons for he bannings or what exactly happened is still unclear. Noone knows anything, and people are awaiting answers.
  6. Except some people only spawned the crystals on their characters and did not transfer them, which is legal to do and there by design. For instance, on my sage, I have the Thul Statesman set unlocked as I equipped it on him. Via collections, I can spawn as many copies of that outfit as I damn well please on him. This is the same for color crystals. Additionally, some people have transfered crystals from one character and unlocked them on others and DID NOT RECIEVE A BAN. And additonally some people PAID THE CARTEL COIN UNLOCK FEE AND STILL GOT BANNED. So, I'mma pull out my inner San'torum here momenetarily, ergo therefore concordingly, the matter is more complex and twisted than people are assuming it to be. It is not a simple matter of people dupping color crystals, transfering them via legacy weapons, or vendoring items either accidentally or purposefully. It is, in fact, a cluster****.
  7. I believe, most people like myself, only got the following explanation: "After completing an investigation of your Account, we have identified the following violation: Violation: Economy Exploitation (extreme) Due to the severity of the violation, we are suspending your account for 1 week (168 hours) effective immediately. Our penalty system is cumulative. This means that if you continue to violate our Terms of Service in this way, the next penalty applied may ultimately result in permanent account closure." With no information past that.
  8. The issue appears to be more likely linked to spawning multiple copies of cartel market color crystals. Assuming people have been truthful in them saying that was all they did(No transfer or anything.). One of my fellow Guildees said that was all he did and he got the ban. So that seems to be the common denominator here, it could have been more than one, or more than two. We don't have enough information to know. But the ban is far reaching, and quite possibly unintended given how many people it had affected.
  9. If that is the reason, it's retarded. We deserve an answer, not the threatment that we're getting which is blatant silencing by Bioware.
  10. I advise everyone to take this to the presses. Submit stories about this to any games sites you can with the story. Here's the tip mails for massively and kotaku. tips@kotaku.com http://massively.joystiq.com/contact/tips/ We shouldn't let this go silent.
  11. Why is it that many people are currently banned for something they may not have done and why is Customer Support unable to aid anyone through the phones even direct supervisers?
  12. Less than a week? Try less than five days. Most of my guild and I finished it in two. Not only that, but there's not even enough content there to get you to 55 without XP boosts. One of our guildiees tried it, he got to like 52.
