  1. This is still the top thread on Google for this issue. Just confirming since I got my heart attack tonight, it's been over a year since this issue was known and not fixed by Bioware.
  2. Some additional data: It is possible to lose (small amounts of) individual stats as you "upgrade" from a blue 178 to a 186 purple. For example, a 178 Veracity Frasium Supercharged Resistance Module MK-1 has: 205 Endurance 199 Willpower 12 Shield Rating 98 Defense Rating 79 Surge Rating and the 186 Shielded Frasium Supercharged Resistance Module MK-1 has: 231 Endurance 222 Willpower 23 Shield Rating 27 Absorption Rating 84 Defense Rating 79 Surge Rating which loses 14 Defense Rating in exchange for a gain of 38 Shield + Absorb Rating.
  3. A little bit of persistence finally got someone other than M0-T0 to respond. I'm happy for that small grace, but the rest is just as disappointing as I expected. I have canceled my subscription over this, as I've now played all the class stories and feel that I've "beaten the game" to my own standards and don't need to keep paying to play. Thank you to Phil, Russell, and the CS lady from my first call whose name I did not catch for your patience. The final response from Customer Service is below (with my name removed).
  4. On the phone now for the second day in a row to try and reach a customer service agent who will provide customer service. Three tickets have been closed with the same form response from M0-T0 without any actual resolution. Customer service just hung up on me as well. Spoke with Russell after calling back who took down many details about the problem in ticket #14361810 and claimed to escalate it. The woman I spoke with yesterday claimed to escalate my previous ticket and I still got a form letter, so I am not hopeful. Will likely be calling back tomorrow.
  5. Yes, apparently many players are in this situation, myself included. I have found zero official acknowledgment of the issue nor any hint that they care. I very much doubt this can be a recent issue.
  6. Another player here with zero achievements granted for classes who hit 50 and completed Chapter 3 long before Achievements, and as such have no credit for trivially verified achievements and rewards. "Customer Service" gave me the "File a Bug Report" form letter, and the bug report gave me the "We will not respond to bug reports" form letter. I also completed the Sorc, Agent, and Hunter stories recently and only received signs for the Hunter - I wouldn't have even found this solution if I didn't turn to the forums in desperation on ANOTHER undocumented issue with this game. Sometimes I get very frustrated that I still pay money to rent a game with no customer support.
  7. Thanks for the warning, Orizuru. I noticed Harbinger was having issues recently thanks to all the forum activity, but I would have been pretty cheesed off if I transferred to a chronically missing server! Which is a shame, since "the most active west coast PVE server" sounds like exactly what I want. I'll keep an eye on it this weekend and see if the problems are fixed as quickly as they started.
  8. My characters are all on an East Coast server due to the server merges that have happened since release, although I am a West Coast player. I'd like to move some of them to a West Coast server but I'm not confident in the Legacy benefits I expect to be brought over. Has anyone transferred recently, and if so can you tell me what to expect about: Legacy Storage: are the stored items on the East Coast server shared with the West Coast server, or is Legacy Storage effectively per-server? Can I opt to transfer stored items along with a character (aside from whatever I stuff their personal inventory with)? Can I use Legacy Storage to transfer items from my crafters left on the East Coast to new toons on the West Coast? Strongholds: are my Strongholds and the decorations already placed in them shared across servers? If not, is my decoration collection empty after the transfer or do I get copies of everything to re-place in a newly purchased Stronghold? Legacy Perks: it's documented that these come along for the ride but I've seen plenty of threads here and elsewhere complain that some Legacy pieces aren't transferred. Any experience you have with successful (or not) transfers would be appreciated! I'm hoping to get a higher population server at a more convenient time AND keep all the perks and benefits I've paid for, but since Customer Service is completely unhelpful I don't want to blow through several dozen dollars and be disappointed with the outcome. Thanks for your advice and experiences!
  9. Presence definitely continues stacking for all companions with finished conversation chains, regardless of their combat type or your other characters' efforts. I have 3 50's with all finished companions and working on a fourth, and I specifically checked my Presence before-and-after I finished the final conversation with one of my latest companions. It went up by 10, same as all the rest. For the heroic moment, though, it's true that you can only improve it from a 1 min duration and 20 min cooldown, to a 2 min duration and 15 min cooldown, by finishing one companion of each combat type.
  10. The OP also mentioned they are a bit of a completionist, "play[ing] every class in a game". If that's the case, you should know that to completely finish some companions' conversations and questlines, there IS a minimum affection level required to unlock them all and it's not trivial. For example, my Smuggler's melee DPS companion requires more than 8800/10000 affection to get their next quest. I would also recommend that if you have some extra credits, you can immediately push a new companion's affection over 6000 using just buyable gifts, and it only costs about 35k credits (less if you unlock certain Legacy perks). For your first character this is not affordable, but once you have one level 50 character, a couple hours of daily quests is enough to afford that for one new companion on a second character.
  11. One thing you'll want to keep in mind is that depending on your class, some of your story quests may force you to use one or more certain companions, or forbid you from using others. That means if T7's your favorite and Kira's just collecting dust, you might have a tough time when your story forces you to bring Kira (and she's still in her Coruscant-level greens while you're level 30+). So far I've noticed the Jedi Knight and Trooper stories are bad about this. So, either spread the love (which can be expensive) or be prepared to shell out some credits to boost a required companion's gear quickly if the worst happens.
  12. Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks for all the great information, gentlemen.
  13. Before spending a good chunk of money on bag space unlocks, I am hoping to get clarification on the functionality. If I purchase an account-wide Inventory upgrade, will any new characters begin with 40 slots instead of 30? If I purchase an account-wide Inventory upgrade, will it take the place of the cheapest row or the most expensive row? Example: given an existing character with no expansions purchased, and I buy an account-wide inventory expansion, would that character have to pay 175k credits to unlock the remaining rows (5k + 20k + 50k + 100k) or would they have to pay 370k credits (20k + 50k + 100k + 200k)? I have essentially the same questions about the Cargo Bay expansions, but I expect that the answers will be identical. Thanks to anyone who can clear up how these unlocks work!
