  1. So I've read the most of the posts here and I think I have a solution that benefits all. Endgame craft-able gear just needs to have a requirement to use it. As an Example: Armormech can create a comparable piece of armor to Champion gear, but, the mods will be empty, and there will be a Valor requirement to use it. You could make it so RE'ing the gear would result in different set bonuses, making the crafter RE a lot of gear to get full sets. Thus making their profession very valuable but not letting anyone use the gear that didn't earn it. The same could be done with PvE gear, you just need a "loyalty" rating added. It could give X points per HM you complete. The numbers could be similar to Valor. Having Valor and "Loyalty" requirements could propel the crafting system well beyond it's current limits, but wouldn't let people just buy gear and be OP without earning it. Done. Next problem?
  2. I solution to this is to use the Armor "type" of whatever Armor you choose to in your "appearance" slot. Then everything is the same as i is now. But I agree the choices for Sorc's are a lot more limited than all the other classes. The system really needs work. The beauty of an Appearance slot vice Transferable mods as that it wouldn't cost you a fortune to change the way you look. Just removing one 51-56 mod is around 25k. multiply that by three (each piece of gear) and then by the 5 pieces of gear. It can cost 375.000 credits. I don't know about you but that will SUCK!!! OP is right!! Help us Bioware, you're our only hope.
  3. I'd didn't say I would list all 40+ tickets that contained bugs and imbalances, I just listed some of the PvP issues I've noticed (with solutions). So instead of playing semantics, try some actual constructive comments, otherwise, go troll a different thread. I dare you to come up with better solutions for these bugs, imbalances, problems or whatever YOU want to call them.......
  4. So, I hope the title gets your attention. I have over 40 tickets in the in game "Help" system and almost everyone of them has something to do we PvP. I have reported bugs, imbalances and many other frustrating happenings only to get a cookie cutter response to post them onto the forums so the correct people see them. (even after stating that I refuse to use the forums) So I bit the bullet and am going against my better judgement, here they are: 1. PvP Imbalances - I believe the PvP should be broken up into three categories POST 50. The Valor system. a.)Centurion - Valor 0-30 - Buy Centurion Tokens with Warzone commendations b.)Champion - Valor 30-59 - Buy Champion Tokens with Warzone Commendations Valor 25 required. c.)Battlemaster - Valor 60 - Buy Battlemaster tokens with Warzone Commendations Valor 55 required. Set the price at whatever works out to the same amount of time required to get gear now, but here is where this system shines: *New 50's (Valor 0-30) don't get smoked in three seconds when playing and can enjoy playing vice raging. (I'm guilty of this). *You will always be playing against someone with equal gear/valor level. *New 50's won't "ruin" the Warzones making it harder to win. (or at least can't be blamed) *when you earn enough tokens you can pick the gear you need, You wouldn't be placed in some random generator universe where you get 6 pieces of the exact same gear. (Guilty here as well) Con: Que times may be longer, but if the system is fun, more people would play because of less frustration. (see: "Ragers" below) Extra: if there is valor differences in a group, the group leader's valor should be used to determine which Valor category the group is queuing into. But never put a higher Valor into a lower Valor match. (you can go harder, but never easier) 2. Warzone Quiters - In my opinion the ability for a player to quit ruins the Warzone experience, playability and makes it harder to complete your dailies. I believe there are four types of players that quit: a) "Impatients" - Players quit because they think they are going to lose, every second they spend in a losing match is a second that is not going towards completing their daily. b) "Ragers" - completely out of their minds in Rage because they can't win or die instantly due to poor/sub-par gear. c) "Oopsers" - They que'd by accident and didn't want to PvP. d) "DC'r" - truly DC'd and have disconnected from the game. Here is my solution to Warzone Quitters: 1) If the Valor system(above) of queuing for warzones was adopted, you would get rid of the "Ragers". 2) Implement a "NO QUEUING" timer from a quitter that is over when the match they left has ended. This takes care of the "Impatients". This has no effect on the Oopsers, they didn't want to PvP anyway. 3) The "DC'r" unfortunately they will be hurt the most from the timer but it's only 10 minutes or less. (depending on when they DC'd) And if their load times are anything like mine, they'll only be waiting a couple of minutes to re-Que. On a side note: The game can tell when a person disconnects, I've seen it: Player X disconnected, Player X left the Ops group. Don't put the timer on if the the player disconnects. 4) More than 4 disconnects in a 1 hour time period will double the "NO QUEUING" timer. Miscellaneous: 1) if a person ques for a warzone, then is invited to a group, they may end up on another team, the group leader knows he/she is queing the group. When the group leader ques the group, all players should enter (or re-enter) the que so everyone is on the same team. So here are my problems and (I think) good solutions for them. Get hot Bioware!!, your window is closing.
  5. I think a good compromise to Advance Class respects is to allow them up to level 30. By 30 you know if you like you class or not. Just an ideas. Comments?
  6. So I've done some research, the facts are gathered from the internet so this could be all wrong, FYI. As of the 3rd of OCT 2011 there were roughly 513,000 pre-orders. (that's where we stopped today) I'm guessing 250,000 emails on the first day and 270,000 on the second day. With a little over 910,000 pre-orders sold, that leaves 407,000 un-emailed pre-orders. With this information, you can deduce there will be 250,000 tomorrow(Thursday) and the remainder on Friday. Enjoy!, and may you enter in a timely matter.

    Help!

I feel bad for you guys......Bump.
  8. Just got an answer to my in-game ticket. Turns out, you are correct. Becuase there is a hyphen in the name the system thinks it's a single word. The is why the second word is lower-case. I was then told, DO NOT change the guild name as we may lose it. I must say, that was the FASTEST in-game response I have ever gotten. Kudos Bioware.
  9. Hopefully get fixed? or will get fixed. Do you KNOW this or just speculating? I'm not trying to sound like an *****, I Just need to ensure the name doesn't get taken. (with the mad dash and all) My guild was assigned "The Fatman" server and we don't approve of the server name.
  10. I'm in game and have created my guild. I typed the name in like this: Blue-Dart(example name) The <Tag> above my head reads: <Blue-dart>. The Capitol D in Dart has been changed to a lower case. It cost me 5000 credits to create the guild but the name is all messed up and not what I want. I know that I typed it in correctly. What can I do to fix this? If Support can't help and I have to fork over ANOTHER 5000 credits, if we all disband from the guild and try to make another with the same name, will the name be taken? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. What's up with that name? I understand that it has two star wars meanings: 1) Jabba the Hutt's Rancor Trainer and talent scout. 2) A freighter that Zeerid Korr (A famous smuggler) flew. All the other servers' names are majestic and/or cool. IMO the server is going to be the homes of trollers, grievers, and kids. Think about it: A person comes home from the store, loads the game, and gets to the server selection. One of two things is going to happen: 1) The Fatman! I'm gonna pick that server cause of it's funny name and screw with everybody. 2) The Fatman? that's a dumb name. (picks another server) I was assigned that server in the guild set-up program. Sorry, but The Fatman will NOT be my home. What were you thinking Bioware?
