  1. not quite. There are just different level's of canon, G-Canon overrides everything (This being the Movies and other information provided directly from Lucas). He said this: more info on canon http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Canon
  2. They enhanced his agility as well. Also I wasn't meaning that he had a droid brain, only that there was computers in his cyborg body that would work with his brain to enhance his abilities.
  3. I did read something about that...Personally hope it's something either WAY earlier in the Timeline (Founding of the Republic Era) or something in the Legacy period. Or a series set between the TOR and Battle of Ruusan era would been cool too.
  4. not completely true, Lucas has and continues to have a lot of say in the overall story of Star Wars, and since Iger and Lucas are on good terms and Lucas is the one that pushed forward with starting on the new movies as well as getting Katherine Kennedy put in place as the head of Lucasarts. Here is a pretty good write up on the whole thing. http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-03-07/how-disney-bought-lucasfilm-and-its-plans-for-star-wars That said, it's not completely impossible that Disney /could/ push for Yoda's species to be name, particularly if they do a movie based on a young Yoda like has been rumored. While Disney does own the franchise now, Iger has been /VERY/ good about keeping the people in place that know the franchise/companies, ie Marvel and Pixar (and are the reason why Lucas sold the company to Disney in the first place.) For my own personal opinion I think the only person that knows is Lucas and whither he gave that information to anyone at Lucasarts or not is completely in the air. I would find it a bit cool to find out for sure...but I do enjoy the mystery as well.
  5. worse part is that they had just worked out the story line leading up to Ep3 for the Clone Wars. I kinda wondering if they are cancelling it so that they can get out of the Contract with Cartoon Network and bring it back under a different name on Disney XD or wth they are calling it these days.
  6. The new movies are based on George Lucas' treatises, while he's trampled on exsisting lore with the Prequel movies, he didn't thrown them out completely either. ALL the stories in the EU were approved by Lucas, up to and including the Vong, as well as Chewbacca and Anakin Solo's death (particularly how he didn't want his story to parallel with Anakin's grandfather, though they did with Jacen's *UGH*). While it's possible that they will throw some of the EU out, it's unlikely that it'll be the entirety of the EU that gets thrown out.
  7. Not true at all, Naboo is in this game (mentioned) , and Gungan's are known of now. Though I do agree on not wanting them as PC's. Ewoks wont be, thats a given as Endor isn't discovered. I don't want Cathar unless they fix the model and give them freaking MANES like they are suppose to have.
  8. Yes, pretty much this...ONLY reason General Gervious can use them is because of his droid and computer systems is able to process the information fast enough to use them. Swords (vibro or otherwise) have weight distribution where Lightsabers don't at all.
  9. midi-cholrian's are more a measure of force sensitivity...not power. according to wookiepedia average human has 2500/cell. How powerful and connected to the Force a person is, completely depends on their skill. Revan was skilled, and powerful but not because of his midi-cholrian count but his connection and skill with the Force. Honestly, I find Bioware's use of Revan as a crutch and find him too much of a Marty Stu.
  10. lightsabers have a push button activation, one that is used with digit. Unless the LS is specifically built by the wielder to /ONLY/ activated by the force, anyone can use them. The problem doesn't stem from whither or not they can use it but whither or not they are able to be able in wielding it properly as the weight distribution is COMPLETELY different than a traditional swords, which almost requires the Force to do so.
  11. There were poltics involved as well, Sienar System Fleet designed and built the TIE fighters and were given an exclusive contract to build them. Incom on the other had broke up when the plans for the X-wing were stolen the lead designers escaped to the Rebellion. They set up shop and built the X-wing exclusively for them. Y-wings and Z-95's were old designs and easy to come by, A-Wing and B-Wings were both designed and built by the Rebellion
  12. The next project that Lucas will work on is the live action TV series, he's got 50 episodes written and ready, just waiting for the technology to be there to get them made in the $1 million range (about the price for shows like Game of Thrones and Spartacus), but he also doesn't want to give up control to the likes of HBO (not that it would be necessarily a BAD thing from a production stand point)
  13. I was under the impression that Han's freezing in carbonite was something never done before, thus Fett's comment to Vader about him dying and getting compensated for it. then coming into this game and seeing people frozen all over the place it's like....uh...***?
  14. They destroyed the AT-ST's with 2 massive logs slamming into the sides at the same time, and destabilizing the footing by rolling logs under it. Then Chewbacca stealing one and shooting the others. The Ewoks where a distraction, all they were there to do was get Han and Leia into the Shield generator so the DS2 could be destroyed by the Rebellion.
  15. you even read my second post?
