  1. It's not really considering you only have to subscribe to gain access.
  2. Bioware gets quite a few things wrong nowadays but I can't agree with this being one of them. I thought it was a welcome shake up to the gameplay and functioned perfectly well. To ease players into this system over 3 or 4 chapters would of been of a waste of time and bloated story. It's such a simple piece of gameplay, it takes all of 5 seconds to understand. I do agree with the OP thought. I would like to return to the Republic vs Empire, actual Star Wars.
  3. The Thieves Guild came out this year. Champion System was last year. I've had some fun with ESO, got to champion 240, but the combat will get me every time I play. I find it really boring with some of the worst animations I've ever seen.
  4. Almost every game wants their players to play in a certain way and discouraged certain play styles. It's nothing new. For example, WoW didn't make specific legendary items drop from specific content as they didn't want players targeting them and ignoring all the other content.
  5. That's an issue with many MMORPG's. A decent idea (not referring to CXP) is often completely ruined by a select few who feel the need to abuse it.
  6. Good point. I think a grind system is needed for SWTOR much like ESO has the Champion system and WoW at the moment has the Artifact Power system. Something for everyone to progress towards. Tying gear to this system was the wrong way to go. I still think the game is fun though.
  7. They pretty much just ripped off Yoda and Luke in Empire Strikes Back.
  8. Well the least they could do is make a few small ones along with some large ones rather than all being massive. I just can't bring myself to use any of the new ones because they look ridiculous. Some of the small ones looked perfectly fine in my opinion and had some nice detail.
  9. They are my favourite crystals as well and I hope they do add some more. The previous colours were getting silly. All we need now is a hilt with Luke's ROTJ ignition sound to match that desert green
  10. You realise those people are in the queue as well, not on the server.
  11. I hate that mentality as well. I actually still have a lot of fun even if the group wipes a billion times. I don't believe anyone can learn from a video, you really need to experience the mechanics first hand. Even progression raiders wipe over and over to learn but then some of them expect a new player to know everything straight away.
  12. They should leave them in my opinion. It will allow players to learn their class more.
  13. He uses blaster pistols in 4.0.1 so Torchy is back.
  14. Separating the player base is NOT a good idea. You should either have everyone sync'd or no one. A mandatory system gives Bioware the ability to do some very interesting stuff, much more than if it was a simple toggle to help your friends. This is a foundation for the future.
