Hello all, After the changes that hit the shadow in 2.0, as a long time balance pvp'r, I figured that I would write up a little post about this spec, since so many on my server are confused as the the usefulness of a balance shadow, now that we lost most of our burst. This class is meant to be played as a mobile, DPS utility class. not a class for guarding nodes, dueling ETC the balance shadow can be a great asset to a team, when paired with other classes with burst. it's your job as balance to cause lots of AOE damage, and lots of bleeding through FIB and your DOTS. It sounds crazy, but this class is made to melt tanks. your job is to soften up the targets in your skirmish so that the bursty DPS can cut them down with ease, and negate their ability to regain lost health from CDs ETC. Healers should be running out of resources due to having to keep up with your sustained damage. A well played balance shadow is not the OP FOTM class of choice, but when played right can pull some of the highest damage in a match, and help facilitate a win through amplifying the effectiveness of your teammates burst. any other thoughts?

A few of our "elite" pvpers QQ about moving to your server in fleet from time to time, but for the most part not that many are really going to do it.

CoCo is working out the bugs with our ranked team(s) currently we have 2 - 8 mans who we will be running on Wed nights. the more guilds that run ranked on wed, the more fun we will all have!

CoCo (coordinating confusion) still has 2 end game raid groups, one currently progressing through TFB HM, and one getting ready to start TFB HM. We have a similar philosophy to the gentlemen, where sometimes progression has to be put on hold to integrate a new member into the group. we are in it for FUN, that comes first. we also run a blackhole coms roundup on saturday, and a worldboss night on friday. I think we are up to 2 or 3 stacks on dreadtooth. our guild has been around since the start of Ven Zallow, and will continue to march on. its the players, not the achievements that make us who we are.

because it's 2012, and they have a really good design team (I love the dragonage/ME stuff), AND because they want people to play the game and not feel the shame of tossing on some ugly endgame gear. some of it is so.....out of place. it seems rushed. the entire time I have leveled my shadow, only 1 outfit felt like it was class appropriate. It would have been nice to have more differentiated gear.

are you kidding me? you have not seen UGLY till you see the Jedi Consular gear. PVE gear looks like a pretty pretty princess designed it (headpieces look either like a satalite receiver, or a skinned Gungan head depending on mele/casters) PVP gear looks like an assortment of hobo rags. the stats on the robe I just picked up: +90 Willpower +190 Force Power +20 Expertise +90 Accuracy +150 Urine Stains

any of you that think that a company is doing you a favor by having you refer new customers to them, must have slept through business 101. its a business move, and timed perfectly. if you have a friend on the fence, but you have been bugging them to play, well the added allure of 1.2 combined with a free trial will net them _____ new customers. if not for the timing, they would have to look at other ways to get you off your butt to work your friends into playing. so if it were not such a close proximity to launch, and 1.2 was not hitting soon to grab up those who have been interested but have not bitten, they would need to offer you a free space pony or something. never forget, we are customers of BW/EA. we pay them $ to make and update this game. in business, satisfied customers and word of mouth = $$$$$$$

I am excited! I have been playing since early jan and just got my first character up to 50 a few weeks ago. great game, more upgrades are awesome
