Hello, First of all sorry if this is a long reading for a short question. I play swtor all the time but I've only ever played solo. Three of my friends decided we were going to try out the game together (one of them plays as well and has Jedi characters). One of my two friends who have not played before has the ability to make a free 60 for knights of the fallen empire (which i found weird because I thought only subs got that free 60). Will my other friend who has never played get a free 60 as well? We were planning on playing as imperial classes and mainly do flashpoints for the most part and one friend doesn't want to be imperial. Does the game allow for Sith and Jedi to be together in the same group to play a flashpoint? Or is it still split between the two factions? Would he be allowed to be his jedi while we were sith?

I have the same problem. I uninstalled then reinstalled to see if that would do it. Now I can't install the game... lol.

Anyone else getting a "This application has encountered an unspecified error" message when trying to update? It didn't show up until today. Uninstalled, went to reinstall and the same thing happened. Now I don't have the game either lol.

I'm sorry that was really vague. I tank in pretty much every game I play but I also like dps, I don't mind healing. I PvP and PvE, but I like PvP more. However, I do love to story of this game. I mainly solo, but I will group up if I need to complete something or if I want to experience something.

I'm finishing up my first 55, who is a Jugg, and I'm wondering what I should play next. I like being in the fight; however, it's nice to be away from the fight sometimes. I'm always the heavy armor guy so I do not like being squishy. I have played all the ranged classes, besides the merc/mando class, to about 20. I love sorc/sage bubble and the sniper/gun shield thingy. They both give some fair defensive power. I am looking at any class, I just have less experience with ranged classes. Any advice?

I suppose you are right. If we didn't want down time then I should go a healer. I'm guess deciding between scoundrel, sage, and i guess i would make a commando. I like vanguard enough to make a commando. My friend said sage might be best, but what do you think? I have a sage and scoundrel. I'd have to make another trooper for commando. maybe just tank myself?

I have a low leveled sage and scoundrel already so possibly one of those two. I have a vanguard so I'm not looking to really make another one. Would you think we'd really need heals that much or could I just DPS?

Hello All! My friend and I are planning on leveling fairly far in the up coming double xp weekend. He plays a sentinel and I really don't mind what class to play so i figured I'd asked, what you guys think is a good class that complements the sentinel?

Hello all, I recently made a sorc and I have been loving everything about him, especially the range and the bubble. I never played ranged classes until my sorc. After my sorc I've made a sniper as well. I'm wanting some info on merc/commando's before I make one, because trooper and BH are my two favorite classes. I have a vanguard and had a powertech, but how do merc/commando's compare to them? Do they also compare well to the other ranged classes? Do they have some nice defensive ability like with the sniper's wall or the sorc's bubble?

Thanks for the reply. I believe I'm going to make an assassin tank. Since we have one of each base class I think i'll just make an inquisitor to keep that going.

With my friends getting into swtor, I'd like to start a new character and play with them. My friends are playing a marauder, a powertech (dps), an operative (heals). What would you guys play in this situation? Is a tank really necessary? Or would you play another dps/healer class? What would you dO?

1) Jugg 2) Powertech 3) Vanguard 1) My Jugg has always been my favorite with animations and looks. Love just the fact of having a saber. I already have a battlemaster set and a black-purple crystal for my Jugg and I cannot wait to get to 50 (or 55, don't remember) and wear it. It is my favorite armor in the whole game . I also really love the story. 2) My first character I began to understand the game with. I began tanking on him and that's now why i pretty much only tank. Great looking armor, Best animations in game, and the voice actor's voice is freaking awesome. Story was ehh for me. 3) My second character (my first being a jedi guardian). Love the armors of troopers, I think through the whole game they have the best armor until the 50's ( I hate trooper 55^ gear). animations could be better, but they're fun to play none-the-less. I actually find the story entertaining, unlike others do. It's definitely not the best one but it's enjoyable. If you couldn't tell, animations and appearance play a big role for me.

As the title says, what tank would you guys suggest? and why? My friend just currently got into swtor and he has some friends that are going to play with us too. We'll have a marauder, an operative(dps), and a powertech (dps), and me... I like to tank and I've play powertech and juggernaut to at least lvl 25 I loved both. But i have never play an sin tank. What would you go in my situation?
