  1. A new and completely original idea! Tip: At the top of this page is a search box. In it, type "Legacy Bank". 114 threads will come back on this topic.
  2. What is a rakghoul event? I guess there was one a while ago but I never saw anything different in game...
  3. You're not. A great many people also find it rediculoutly annoying. He just replied that because he has a misconception that his views are right and every other view is wrong.
  4. Another issue would be leveling. A companion is just set to the same level as your main toon. If you are using alts as companions, obviously you would want to use the level of your alt. But that presents other issues: 1) You would be able to stack your "group" with way over powered characters for a given quest. 2) You you would be able to level more than one of your toons at a time with the xp from the mobs. I guess you could make your alts the same level as your toon, and not give them any xp or loot for the duration that you are using them as a companion. Wouldn't be quite as useful, but it would reduce the possibility of abuse. And what if you are doing quests that your alt also needs? Seems to make sense that both toons can get credit for the quest so that you don't have to do it again for each toon, but I see that being abused too. Suddenly everyone would be running around with 3 alts everywhere they go to avoid the work / time for leveling each toon. So it seems like there are two ways to do this: 1) Take your alts as companions as-is. This lets you use the your alts with their full level and gear but creates a situation where you can stack your group with way over powered companions. This opens the door to abuse by allowing players to blow through content like no body's business. You would also need to lock the ability to transfer bound items. It would probably also be necessary to lock XP gain for your companion alt to avoid abuse of people dragging 3 alts with them to level them all at once to power level them. 2) Make an alt companion that has none of the alts gear and is the same level as your main. This removes the possibility of abuse of OP groups and leveling multiple toons at once, but restricts your ability to gear your alt-companion as you would be able to with a regular companion.
  5. Sounds to me like you hate leveling and love end-game content, and are really just looking for a way to skip right to the end. Others, like me, are the opposite. I love leveling and hate end-game content. For me, the game is over once I max a toon and I reroll and start again. Seems to me that the ideal solution would be to find a way to let people like me securely level your toon for you, for a fee. Maybe for a couple million credits, I can sell you one of my maxed toons, for example...
  6. I think I remember reading that unlocking Tweek account wide is bugged for some people. Otherwise it works like anything else on the CM. 1) buy Tweek on one toon. Bind it to your toon by using it. 2) Make sure Tweek appears in your collections. 3) Log in with a different toon and find Tweek in collections. 4) There should be an option to unlock Tweek for your account. Note: you will not see the option to unlock for your account on the same toon that added it to your collections. You must use a different toon to do that.
  7. Do you two actually play all 22 toons, or do you max them out and then start over with a new toon? I only have 12 slots on my account (don't want to pay for more) so I started deleting old toons that I don't plan to play again and made room for more new ones.
  8. Last report I looked at is dated July 2013 and it only had about 3% market share at that time.
  9. You're funny. You are acting like they said they will do this and now they're just procrastinating or something. No promisses were made and considering that Windows phones have the smallest market share of all of the smart phones, it's unlikely that you'll ever see this. Since Blackberry has a larger market share than microsoft, you're more likely to see an app for them first.
  10. They've been talking about doing that since before release and still hasn't happened. But it has potential to be a good game feature. I'm imagining guild vs guild battles where your guild capital ship is pitted against anothers. There could be upgrades your guild could get for its ship, depending on the guilds level and how much money it has to spend, it could also be a central place for guild members to hang out, as well as a commerce center....
  11. No, I just find two guys going at it gross and discusting and feel that I should have an option to opt-out. Failing to have an option, I choose not to go to Makeb. If they added it throughout the game by having companion SGR and didn't provide an opt-out, I would seriously quit. A good analogy is the healthcare system. Religious people find birth control to be offensive so they added opt-out options so that religious organizations don't have to be part of it. Same here. some people find SGR to be offensive and should have opt-out options.
  12. I only play one toon at a time. I don't do ANY end game content. No Dailies, FP's or WZ. No PVP at all No Group quests unless I can solo them. I think it's amazing that people do end-game gear grinds. They do a bunch of stuff that they hate so they can get better gear to do even more stuff that you hate etc etc etc. I wised up a long time ago. I play to max level, then the game is over. Roll up another toon and do it again. I do join a guild for the xp bonus, but I rarely pay attention to the chat window. There is so much useless crap flying across it that I can't get rid of that the guild chat gets lost. For example, why the **** do I need to read what the companion is babbling? Or if I attack a mob I get two screens full of text...
  13. I just know that if they ever did this, one tab would not be enough and people would start complaining that they need MORE space. One tab for Bio stuff, one for Metals and compounds, one for their crystals ....
  14. I don't care if they do this or not. I really don't. What get me is how all the people for this totally fabricate nonsense in their attempt to make it happen. 1. "I can't possibly play the game without the Datacrons!" Well, actually you can. The Datacrons are totally optional and not in the least bit required for anything. They are like the Space missions. Do them if you like them, or else skip them. The stat gains are so small as to be almost non-existent. If you get ALL of the datacrons, a stim boost will give you more stats! 2. "I have to get EVERY SINGLE ONE of the Datacrons!" No, in fact you don't need most of them! There are 7: STR, WILL, AIM, CUNNING, ENDURANCE, PRESENSE and Matrix Shards. Of the first 4 types, you only can use ONE because the others have stats that don't apply to your class! And I'd be willing to bet that most people don't actually use the Matrix shards. That means that only 3 of 7 have any value. 3. "The Datacrons are so *********** hard that after I do it once, I proved I can and all my toons deserve the bonuses!" MOST datacrons are just sitting on the ground and you just need to click them as you run by! Very very few actually require any sort of acrobatics to get to. And almost all of them are within a few feet of where you are already questing so it's not really even an issue of time if you get them as you go. You people are simply confused about the reality of Datacrons. Do them because you ENJOY doing them. If you don't get any pleasure from them, then don't do them! It's just that simple people.
  15. People that hate datacron hunting but want the trivial stat boost can save themselves a LOT of work by skipping the ones that don't apply to their toon. For instance, if you are playing a Sith Warrior, Strength is your stat. Don't bother with the Datacrons that are Willpower, Aim and Cunning. There, I just cut your OPTIONAL workload by 75%
