Thank you for the replies. It is a bit sad. I really wanted to come back to the game and enjoy it a bit. I played a little with fullscreen 1920x1080 just to get my fix. However to even play it with current setup its just too much hoops to deal with. Its not the only game I play so I dont want to mess with too much with the settings. This is the first time I encountered this issue with this monitor in any game. So I can imagine multiple sources for the problem as you guys pointed out. Still at the end its virtually unplayable so I might try F2P later to see if it gets fixed by itself in future updates. Cheers!

I actually formated my windows and reinstall only the drivers and downloaded and issue still persists. At this point i will give up and cancel the sub. cant be helped. I get it that this is not due to the game itself and its about scaling related to windows 10 but Im surprised that there is no quickfix or some kind of option added for ignoring this rendering implemented in the client

Hey There I spent the last 3 hours trying to combine everything i saw from reddit to community forums to use to see if i can find a solution. Even though UI elements scaled correctly models are stretched in a way that makes the game unplayable. Things I tried so far. Hardware 1- Replaced my HDMI 2 cable with DP cable. 2- Replaced my HDMI cable entirely with a brand new one. Driver related 1- Used CRU tool to create a new monitor driver with 3840 x 1080 as max and only resolution and forced driver to b e recognized by installing it on disable driver signature mode. 2- Used forced EDID to remove all other resolutions (However no matter what I do i still see 3840 x 2160 as an option as 4k both ingame as max resolution and on NVIDIA) 3- Installed latest drivers, beta drivers, some performance drivers from guru3d. Windows related 1- Disabled s caling on resolution settings 2- Both disabled full screen optimization on launcher and swtor.exe 3- Disabled scaling on DPI scaling on properties on both launcher and swtor.exe I also tried every single combination for DPI scaling on the compability mode. 4- Tried compatibility modes for windows 7 Game settings related 1- I tried to modify client.ini file for manually modifying the height and width to match native resolution. 2- Used some neat extra codes to force disable distortion (did not work) 3- Using Nvidia scaling options At the end Only thing I havent tried is reinstalling. Which Im downloading right now after purging the entire hdd of anything on registery or anything left on any temp data. Im 90% sure that game is still trying to scale it based on 4k - 3840 x 2160 and so far even with custom drivers for monitor i couldnt fix this. Im using Samsung CHG90 - 49 inch curved ultrawide monitor with 32:9 ratio.

Well what I recently noticed is this new faction Contraband Resale Corporation actually has a set called BK-O Combustion Set Except Head and Chest pieces its recolored version of Imperial Trooper Armor. Just another way to make having collector edition even less special.

CE Owner, Ordered on SEP 6 2011. Cost about 149$ and on top of that I had to pay some customs fee that took about 30$. I just checked amazon now and its being sold for 63$ new and some places selling it down to 40$. I do feel a bit ripped off. Considering we haven't received any of the claimed in game items that would be added over time. And CE statue is considerably small and well mediocre quality. It may have been acceptable if they added the price difference as cartel coins to make up for it.

So let me get this straight, this guild is providing a free service to their faction. Which I am usually tipping about 300-500k each to get it crafted on Empire side. And we have people still complaining about it?

Well people who payed for 150$ for CE did not just payed for a tiny statue (which by the way barely worth anything ), a couple physical items only. From the start CE has been promised a store that's only for CE owners that would be updated regularly. Other than that difference between Digital Deluxe and CE is almost nothing.. Actually it is nothing. And the items you are talking about? Heroes banner.. come on its crap that you can get from GTN for less than 5k credits if you want maybe less. We got 1k cartel coins which is about 8 Euros. So yeah as a CE owner i feel screwed over. Only reason I went for CE was the idea that they will add new items once in a while like every other content patch. So what people asking here is additional updates on the store.
