I'm at 66 gear and I'm about to start running 55 FP.....is that the direction I should head to get to 1800? Rolling for 72 gear and collecting Elite Comms for 72 gear? But, do I start buying 72 Absorption gear from Elite vendor, apposed to more 72 Defense Rating gear?

Really great advice and thanks for taking the time to reply. However, I have to admit I'm still confused about WHEN you switch from Defense Rating and start focusing on Absorption Rating. All the guides explain this switch will happen but none of them state at what level you start. I now have 66 gear DR=707 SR=515 AR=65. When do I start shedding the DR and pile on the AR?

When does this start? What level gear do you start dropping Defense Rating and start piling on the Absorption Rating? I have 66 gear. A really helpful thread. Thanks for taking the time to make it!

(55 VG) I'm currently omw to get the 66 gear from the Oricon storyline, but like most of my gear Ive gotten recently, the stats are only Shield Absorption. (Not Defensive Rating or even Shield Rating) So, 1. Is zero Absorb really what I should have at this point? Why? (Yes, I read the math, but too dumb to understand ) 2. Am I supposed to swap mods in the Oricon gear to fit the stat priority formula? Thanks for any help.

Seriously? I don't have DPS gear yet, so I have to tank in order to get the gear. So 2 for my bad and 1 for groups bad.

So I'm going from TANK VG to DPS VG and need new gear. I'm tanking for a group - I hit need for a Aim/Crit/?? DPS piece - I get kicked from group - "You're a tank and hit need!" - Told em i was switching to DPS - No response. My bad or groups? What's the etiquette?

New to 50 flashpoints, so sorry if this is a "done to death" subject. Half way through a FP, I suddenly start getting a "Access denied. The master looter is deciding what....." and I am unable to loot anything or even roll on it. What is this? Thanks! Edit: Ok. i found out the group leader changed the loot to Master Looter and was being a .... Sucks that I joined in "Group finder" and some random leader gets to change it. I think the loot should be auto set to the norm.

If I subscribe, go from 50-55, then cancel my subscription, do you still keep the expansion, as well as level 55? Thanks!

As it stands from the current announcement... When the transfer options starts... You can either let BW pick what server your characters get transferred to or You can pay to chose what server you would like your characters to be transfer to. Not that complicated, even with the finer details to come. My issue is that new players, once the transfer option has started and severs begin to fill up, will get to chose their initial busy server and the rest of us loyal players who have been here since the beginning, will have to pay to chose ours....and I think that sucks! Should be all round free for a limited time!

Glad someone read it right. lol However, to your point, you can pay to transfer of server of your choice, so the chaos is there regardless.
