When are you going to start trying to understand the needs of your fans Bioware? Get on it. -
Sorry to hear that man. I'm only playing at this point while waiting for D3, which will keep me entertained until Guild Wars 2. If you want to check out a game whose developers actually care about the player and innovate, look it up. Here's a good write up of the main features (super long but worth the read): http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/guild-wars-2-mass-info-t25557.html

Ok, so I'm pretty skeptical about Bioware after watching this sequence of events unfold since launch: 1) Game is rushed to meet launch. Plays like a Beta. Lots of negative feedback from fan base. 2) Forum Search disabled. 3) Constructive posts being censored (closed or deleted). 4) Forum Search eventually enabled leading up to Patch 1.1 5) Patch 1.1 planned to drop on the last day of many player's free subscription, but then delayed 1 day, which entices many who would have otherwise stayed unsubbed to resub. 6) Patch 1.1 drops, introduces a bunch of bugs, breaks Ilum, and garners bad media attention (http://kotaku.com/5877245/star-wars-...s-high+end-pvp) 7) Forum Search is disabled again. 8) Bioware announces Founder Medals for people who sub before mid march in a desperate attempt to get another month of subs. 9) EA's stock drops on analyst suggestion: http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/01...swtor-fumbles/ 10) 'Cancel Subscription' button goes missing for many players. 11) Threads trying to help with the Cancel issue being censored: http://i.imgur.com/aClmR.png 12) Stock comes back nearly to where it was. 13) Look! people are able to cancel their subs again. 14) Oh wait, now they're not again. 15) Now they Are. It seems that if these things point to Bioware doing these things on purpose, they should be able to pick up some new gear with the Dark Side Points gained in their attempts to keep the numbers up for another month. If I defend Bioware and say that although it looks suspicious all of these things were random mistakes and purely coincidental, they look like they have no idea what they are doing or perhaps as is the case in many a company, talented developers are being led around by a Management team comprised of complete morons making the decisions. Either way it's risky considering the now-confirmed $200M price tag on SWTOR.

You jokers fix this and you'll have my sub back

Man this forum is filled up with so much hate and rage it's nearly impossible to have a good positive discussion....this is on page 3 within like 5 minutes.....should I have made the name more flashy or something?

There seem to be quite a few people lately making outrageous claims about BW and TOR in general. It's one thing to criticize actual problems with the game, quite another to draw irrational conclusions about this benevolent company's motives based on a few unrelated occurrences. I've been thinking a lot about this, and I think that most of the haters are taking one or many of the following points and attempting to construct an argument from their sum: 1) Lots of negative feedback from fan base just after launch. 'the game copies wow, blah blah blah' citing pics like this: http://i.imgur.com/UmcMV.jpg 2) Forum Search disabled. 3) Constructive posts being censored (closed or deleted). 4) Forum Search eventually enabled leading up to Patch 1.1 5) Patch 1.1 planned to drop on the last day of many player's free subscription, but then delayed 1 day (to fix bugs). 6) Patch 1.1 drops, has a couple bugs and breaks one thing, yet garners bad media attention (http://kotaku.com/5877245/star-wars-the-old-republic-patch-11-breaks-high+end-pvp) 7) Forum Search is disabled again. 8) Bioware announces Founder Medals for people who sub before mid march. (this is an awesome feature BW, and I'm sorry that so many assume this is just an attempt to keep the numbers up) 9) EA's stock drops on analyst suggestion: http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/01/19/electronic-arts-stock-in-danger-thanks-to-swtor-fumbles/ 10) 'Cancel Subscription' button goes missing for many players. 11) Threads trying to help with the Cancel issue being censored: http://i.imgur.com/aClmR.png So basically what we have here are 11 or so points of data (forgive me if i've missed any), that are possibly unrelated but when put together make it seem like Bioware/EA is some evil giant corporation trying to desperately keep their numbers high by any means necessary. Come on people, stop to think about this logically before posting nonsense. Although I can't quite produce a separate list showing how these are just coincidences, I'm still confident based on Bioware/EA's past reputation that they are on the right path and are just doing what's right for most of us, not the vocal minority.

Quick read on EA (SWTOR / Bioware concerned.)

TOR is underwhelming. Not terrible, just underwhelming.
