  1. He he ! Thanks... Well, I do aim to try for end game so I guess it is best to like the play style! Since I will then be using it a lot. xD Raising Trooper and Smuggler first...
  2. Thanks! Okay, I'll level all three to 45 and then start to see from there on which I prefer... Thankful for the help and info'
  3. Thanks! So, 45 is a good level to reach, so as to get the Skill Tree abilities (like Trauma Probe @ 30 and Bacta Infusion @ 45 for Commando)? To then play a bit at that level should be enough to see how the class plays? Good gaming...
  4. Hello, I am leveling the three healing classes (Republic side) and wished to know what level I must reach to get a good feel for each of them? Is it 55 for all three, or is there an earlier moment in which you have all the basic tools... To help me decide which one to keep as my main and move into the end game etc.. Thank you for any insight and help.
  5. just the occasional panic when Mako would rather DPS instead of heal Yes, this happened to me a few times (even after they fixed the bug that reset her abilities, I mean that before patch 1.1 or whatever, she would reset each time you zoned). And I never figured out what happened. Sometimes she'd just stop healing, and I'd kind of realize what was going on just before dying, or running away... then restart the fight, and all would go well (might be a specific reason, no idea, did not happen enough for me to try and figure it out). Asside from those buggy final missions, anyone else have problems with the class stuff further on in the other acts? I had two problems, my only real problems with any missions, and both on the class quest lines... I won't put spoilers in, but if you encounter such problems, they're both easy to find information on on the Net! +1 for Glenbruton: my experience is the same. I imagine BH Tanks (like most tanks, I guess) will do less damage than a DPS spec class, but it is not "**** damage" at all. As stated, PvP is not the best/overall way to compare things, but, for example, other than Scoundrels/ImpAgents when they "ambush" me out of stealth, I mainly lose or win in 1v1 according to who gets the drops on the other, and CC etc.. My feeling is that most classes probably even out in the long run of leveling (tanks/healers a bit slower killing but more steady vs. DPS who go a little faster but might die a bit more?).
  6. DwarfSpider: I do not know what to post that would actually help you in a specific way (no hints, or ideas per se) but I can say that I played BH Powertech putting all my 31 first points into Shield Tech tree, and I never had a problem leveling through the game, mainly solo (with Mako). I imagine you are just at a bit of a problematic level, in which you do not have some Abilities / gear that you may need to get back into making the fights easier? Not saying you should not respec' or whatever, just pointing out that you can level up to 50 as Shieldtech without any problem. I have not tried another way, so maybe it was a bit slower than if I had gone Pyro, but, in any case, it was not a really slow trek or anything (and I was happy to stick with it, mainly so that I really get to know all my abilities, and for all my key bindings to become second nature). My advice, if you want to stick to Shieldtech, is just to hang in there for a couple levels, and things should pan out...
  7. Looking like bugs is sometimes good... when I do Colicoid War Games, I choose to show my helmet, and the enemy think I am one of them!
  8. Social gear Will Medium / Heavy social armor be put (back) into game? (or other methods of customizing one's armor - color, look...) Thank you for a great game!
  9. I am using this build now, and like it very much. However, there is something you did not mention: the best weapon. For my part, I think you must equip any orange blaster, and then CTRL-Click Right, and remove all Mods, Enhancements, and (especially) the barrel... This makes the gun a lot lighter, and reduces the heat generation. You will see how it greatly improves the damage dealt! GO SLOTH!
  10. 46 going on 47. I live in Paris, France, thus play on Euro server (the RP-PvP), Imperial side... Up for moving to join the fellow young at heart ones!
  11. Thank you very much for the input!
  12. Hello, I have been unable to find information re. this, thus I am asking here: Are there class levels to reach in order to open a certain level in Crafting? ie. must one be level 20, or 30 etc. in order to learn & use Crafting schematics of a certain level? Thank you for your time and patience...
  13. Lightsabers depicted in the first two released films, A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, had blades that were colored either blue (for the Jedi) or red (for the Sith). Most probably to show who was good and who was bad (like the White vs. Black hats of the old cowboy films!). In Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker's newly-constructed lightsaber was colored blue during the initial editing of the film, and appears so in both an early movie trailer and the official theatrical posters, but the film reveals that it was ultimately colored green in order to better stand out against the blue sky of Tatooine in outdoor scenes and also in the re-release posters. So the green was there just because blue was not visible against the blue backdrop. And, from there, green would later become one of the standard blade colors for Jedi lightsabers in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. So, blue and green as "good". Mace Windu's amethyst-bladed lightsaber, as first seen in Attack of the Clones, was requested by the actor Samuel L. Jackson as a way to make his character stand out among other Jedi. Jackson's favorite color is purple and he frequently requests that the characters he plays use an item of that color. A multitude of blade colors appear in the Expanded Universe and in other Star Wars products. The original Kenner figure of Luke Skywalker in his Tatooine costume from Star Wars was released with a yellow-bladed lightsaber. While no yellow-bladed or purple-bladed lightsabers appear in the films before 2002, they have appeared in several computer games, such as Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, The Force Unleashed, Star Wars Galaxies and Jedi Academy. The Knights of the Old Republic video games further expand the number of colors, adding cyan, viridian, violet, silver, and orange.
