I live in Europe but I got a US retailer code for a cartel coins and the associated pet from a friend, Now it seems like SWTOR doesn't accept the code telling me: "Sorry, you cannot redeem your card in this territory." How solve that issue?

Odd I have redeemed a card from amazon from Australia

only other thing I can think of is use a US proxy to change location , maybe www.vpnbook.com using the US proxy or the web proxy may do it, if it is now IP based

Use an american proxy that can mask your MAC address as well as IP. This is the only way you'd get past the various security certificates that validate where you are.

Okay, tried that in addition to changing the location here on the forum, still didn't worked. No idea what is wrong, especially since I got in the past already once a US retailer code to be accepted, so why the change now? And I didn't had to try to trick the website here or anything for that...

Maybe they caught too many folks doing this and fixed it on their end?
Want to know what I get for helping in the support forums? My own support tickets get auto deleted. Thanks BioWare!

Not sure why people have to be caught on this... I mean what is wrong with this, what's the issue?

I suspect the only repsonse you get from Bioware, if any, will be that you aren't supposed to be able to use the US cards if you are in Europe, and vice versa, and they aren't going to do anything to "fix" it so you can.
