Just wondering if anyone else here plays X-Wing Miniatures. Didn't see any posts on it over the last 5 pages... With everything going on in that game it made wonder if few know about it, or they just don't discuss it here.

It's a miniatures game, not a computer game. So it's a bit like Warhammer 40k or Warmachine if you know either of those.

For anyone who liked X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, it reminds me a lot of that.

I've heard of it, and thought about getting into it.

Well if anyone has any questions about it I'd be happy to answer. I've been playing the game for over a year now and am quite involved in the community for it.

Yeah it's a bit like that. Not played on a grid map, but it does use miniatures, dice, and the rest to keep track of things.

Here's a link to a video tutorial of how the game works.

Have it. Love it.
Especially, I am thrilled to see the previews of the TIE Defender.

Don't have it, but have played it.
It's a lot of fun.

It's very easy to learn.
You will playing like a pro within 2 hours.
Depending on the number of ships it can take between 30 and 90 minutes for a game.

Unfortunately the price is putting me off because money is tight for me at the moment.

They've announced the Rebel Aces pack now, a repainted A-Wing and B-Wing.
