I am maxed out so I've been buying stacks of Medpacs and selling them. Someone whispers me and tells me I am wasting my comms and that there's some way I can save more and not have to grind PvP gear when it comes out? Is he full of it, or telling the truth.

First and easiest thing is to finish dailies and and weeklies and don't turn them in until after the patch.

On top of that, you can 'juggle' PVP weapons and gear. When you buy something you get two hours to turn it back in. That's two game hours, so it doesn't count when you log.

Before those two hours are up, buy something else and sell the old item back. Wala. Timer reset.

Juggle a dozen items like this, and buy your new PVP gear when 2.4 lands.

You can do it however you like. I personally am a casual (albeit good casual and prefer PvP to PvE) so now that I have full Partisan, I either A. Gear up an alt or B. Put my fav companion in Partisan. With how quick and easy it is to grind out tier 1 gear I don't mind having to do it when 2.4 drops. I could be waiting up to 40 days from now. But I also like to sell WZ medpacs. On my lower level alts I almost strictly PvP on them so I can hit max Comms several times per level. After getting my level 20 and 40 gear I stock medpacs and sell them 1 stack for 70k, 2 for 120 and 3 for 150 + free stack of adrenals. I'll usually get a guy within two minutes each time and since it doesn't cost me a penny to PvP I charge such low prices. Not to mention with all the free time from companions you just send them on crew skill missions and have it maxed in no time. Then craft awesome stif for yourself or to sell. Another thing if you like to strictly PvP, if you like to keep your gear up to level every so often, you can buy Planetary Comms at 40 WZ Comms a pop, then use those and buy mods, armorings, etc in the Supplies wing and beef up your gear.

I am not really sure what you mean by juggling them. If you could send me a private message explaining how in simple terms. lol. I have the dumb today.

I'll put it here for anyone.

You can buy PVP weapons on the empire or republic home world for 800 comms or so. You have two hours to sell it back, that's two hours of in game time, so you can logout and it won't pass.

In the meantime you can earn more comms with the open 800 comm space.

Before the two hours is up, buy another gun, and sell the other one back. That's the 'juggle'. You get another two hours to trade in the 800 comm gun. Keep doing this every two hours until it's time to redeem and spend those comms.

When you fill up comms again, buy another PVP gun for another 800 comms and open the space.

Well done, it is quite feasible now that this function will be removed. Some things, for various reasons are better kept under your own hat.

Whilst I am in the camp that it's not an exploit, it's a thing I have done and still do, I am almost certain that it is not what the devs want us doing. Why? Because it negates their system of grind at pvp endgame, and that is the exact opposite of what they want.

I am sure they know it goes on, but they turn a blind eye, as the majority of people are unaware of the function. What you have now done, is brought it out into a public forum once again, where it only takes one person to look at it, think, hey, they should not be doing that, and the 20 weapons you have sat in your inventory are suddenly bound to you.

How so? I'm still grinding out all the coms just like i would if i were using them. I'm just being a bit of a hoarder.

No, you are not grinding them as they expect you to. You grind sub 55 and are expected to trade at a 1-3 ratio to max out your RWZs, hoarding weapons can bypass that until a more appropriate time. You are meant to be wasting comms at this stage, on medpacs, level 40 gear etc, once you hit 40, they want you to grind for RWZ comms..

Bottom line is, they only want you to have 3500 RWZ and 2750 WZ comms the moment you hit 55, then grind some more to finish your partisan, then some more to finish you conqueror. You are describing something that can, if you have enough weapons stashed, give you full conqueror the moment you hit 55, therefore bypassing their whole intended grind, you know, you keep you playing etc.

Bolster is your friend.
You dont need min/max pvp gear to be competitive on wz, if you have on start min/max 63-66 pve gear + augments + stims + grenades.
May the Force be with you!

New to the Internet or forums? This has been posted at least two dozen times since 2.0 came out.

They haven't done anything about it yet, and probably won't. It's not stealing. It's not exploiting. It's a pain in the rear to keep doing.

Whatever you do, just don't try to juggle conqueror gear, it will only be worth standard WZ comms after 2.4. Not ranked.

Besides, does anyone actually think the devs ever visit the PVP forums or really care about PVP?
