Unable to Stay Connected (Dalborra Server)

Hi there,

Have been trying to log in for the past hour on Dalborra however as soon as my character loads in i get a latency of around 10k then get booted back to the Server Selection screen and get the error message 'Your connection to the server has been lost. Please contact blah blah...'.

Everything else (other MMOs, vent, websites etc) are working perfectly fine for me but yet I am unable to log in.

I've reset my modem several times, restarted my computer, run a repair and still it happens.

So I'm at a loss at what to do next so I'll keep trying.

Anyone else getting this?

Edit: Just logged into Harbinger and can play fine there with a 220ms, haven't been booted yet. But as soon as I try to log into Dalborra again i get booted @@

Repair likely wont help

i'm connected to Dalborra at present no issues and asked in guild and they all said no issues.

This can still mean an issue on the internet for you though, but only thing you can try at your end otherwise is with the game shut, delete a file DiskCacheArena and do a defrag (not needed to do a defrag but it is recommended)

you can also try this it may help

Its just odd that it is the Oceanic servers that boot me yet I am able to play fine on the American ones without any issue.

Have phoned customer service, hopefully can get this issue fixed.

CS likely cannot help with this issue, I am connected to Dalborra no issues along with others in my guild

You are most likely having a net issue and only running a pathping and a tracert to the server will show where it is the issue but this wont help the issue, just show where it is.

Edit- Logging into Harbinger is a different internet path hence no disconnects

Tracert to the dalborra server
Tracing route to over a maximum of 30 hops

1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms
2 18 ms 11 ms 11 ms []
3 10 ms 10 ms 10 ms [
4 11 ms 11 ms 12 ms []
5 11 ms 11 ms 11 ms
6 11 ms 12 ms 11 ms []
7 34 ms 54 ms 35 ms [114.
8 35 ms 37 ms 35 ms [114.31
9 35 ms 40 ms 35 ms [114.31
10 34 ms 36 ms 34 ms [175.45.7
11 35 ms 36 ms 35 ms [119.1
12 35 ms 36 ms 46 ms

Trace complete.

The few times i manage to get past the loading screen, my ping starts at my usual 40~ms for up to like 10 seconds then climbs till it disconnects and im booted to the server selection screen with the error message.
seems like connecting to the server isnt an issue but staying connected is

Can you run a pathping -n instead of tracert (tracert looks fine)

got a very similar issue aswell. mostly during fights but sometimes just standing around on fleet my game gets the red X saying its timing out. sometimes it reconnects but normally it just keeps going up till i close the game or wait long enough for it to say i have been dced from the server.

Definitely sounds like an issue on a path into the server, 1 person maybe not, two people maybe a coincidence, 3 on the same server very likely nothing you can do to fix this at your end, and just pray it resolves quickly.

this may help but it does depend on the cause
