Concentrate on the word "conical"...
Now envision something more 360...
Enemies flying everywhere!
Can you see??
Wouldn't that be a sight!

Now seriously, this ability, such as it is isn't practical. It just pushes people in front of you to little or no effect. Its damage output doesn't even make this a good offensive skill. What started to be a good defensive skill is now, IMO, neither...

The best offensive thing at the skills is that you can kill enemy mobs instantly if you push them over the border so they fall into death.

If you play in a group it is In most other situations very dangerous to use the skill because you can easily screw up the aggro management of the Tank if you push the mobs away. Exceptions would be if you are a Heal and want to push away some mobs attacking you ... though actually such a situation should not happen if Tanks and DDs doing their job well.

So this skill is usually most of the time only viable if you play as a single player, because the danger of screwing things up is not worth the benefit of a bit of damage. Nevertheless the skill is very cool for that situations where you can push the mobs for example down from the bridge.
