login unavailable

Why is it that when I try to load SWTOR right now it says login is currently unavailable..I haven't seen any updates to servers doing down

A launcher log will help to determine why.

Looks like a firewall issue, which firewall/antivirus do you use, also is there a firewall on your router.

if you open a command prompt as administrator and do a tracert to launchpad.swtor.com does it work ?

i using avast antivirus

Try removing and re-adding exceptions for swtor.exe and launcher.exe in the swtor folder and see if that gets it going.

Edit - try disabling it as well , to see if this is what is causing the issue.

There maybe a network issue going on, you are on the exact same path as a user on this thread

His just started working again for no reason, i am not saying it is a network issue but it is likely.

Edit - Hop 6 you are going a different route to the other thread yet starting from the same place.

Edit - Doesn't appear to be an issue at your end it appears to be an issue at alter.net/bioware side

CS you may want to check the login server at 159.153.92.48

Mate go have a coffee or play another game for an hour or so, hopefully all fixed by the time you get back.
