You realize that the economy on any two servers is completely independent of any other server, right?

Still, they are subject to the same influences, only in different amounts.

It is an interesting perspective to analise them. If one is interested, it could use the cross info (with more info, of course) as a control info to decant the situation on each server.

Perhaps even make a SWTOR Theory of Value, who knows

People like to see what is going on else where to see if the prices on their server is either a ripoff or fair lol.

Then again being an Oceanic player since bioware are not helping the low pop what else can I do with my spare time.

What goes on on another server is completely irrelevant to what goes on on my server.
Something that's considered a ripoff on server A could be a completely fair price on server B.

If there are 500 units available of an item on my server, I'm going to be able to get more for them than you can get on your server where 50,000 of them are available.
The items may be identical, but the market influences are not and, therefore, trying to compare prices is an exercise in futility.

Sorry if I am sounding offensive, but reading this block of self-righteous economic ignorance as an economy student is painful.

The economy is so static. Mats will forever remain a similar price and will never venture below a certain threshold.
