I've read that F2P players won't have access to purple items, but does this include the end game armor like Columni? I've been wondering about this since the f2p announcement and thought now would be a good time to ask about it. Also if orange items are available to f2p players as well.

From what I've read
Purple items = no
Orange items = yes
Purple mods (or items with purple mods already in them) = no.

They can buy an unlock (character or account wide versions) from the cartel shop (or via the GTN from somebody that bought it from the cartel shop) that will permanently allow them to equip purple items.

Basically, the idea seems to be if you're doing end game raiding, you almost have to go subscription. I'd imagine all the different weekly passes would add up to about the amount of a subscription anyways.
