Seriously, why was this even thought to be a good idea to begin with? You're forcing people to use certain crystals because if they don't keep upgrading, they'll be behind in stats.

I see zero advantage to tying stats to the color of your weapon.

It would be like placing a stat on dyes in other MMOs. It's a terrible idea. It needs to be removed.

Umm...

You can get the same stats in at least 4 colors.

Where's the problem?

If you like blue, then use blue. Whether it's for Crit or Endurance.

If you like yellow, then use yellow. Comes with the same stats.

At higher levels an artificer can produce any of the 4 primary colors with any of the stats you wish.

Yes you're more limited at lower levels, but this does change.

That's good to know. So far, the best color crystals I can make always seem to be yellow...but that doesn't really matter to me because that is my color of choice anyways

I dunno, I would like to be able to use my pre-order crystal more, maybe when Bioware adds the vendor back in it will have higher level varients, one can only hope.

They really should've had colour crystals be stat-neutral and had focusing lenses instead.

I'm at about 57 on the artificing at lvl 17 and I can make green, yellow, blue and red crystals all of the same stats, I don't really see it as a problem.

uhm completely disagree, and this feels like a I cant use my favorite color crystal in my weapon anymore and im going to QQ about it on the forums because im sad type of thread

Yep, that's kinda why he made this thread.
Purple and Orange can both be learned as an Artifice schematic. Black/Yellow is either one shot or coming in the CE vendor. Black/Blue, Black/Red, and White are just going to have to deal with it. That's the miniscule price of having a rare color.
