Hi Darkneo,

Edit: mistake made, disregard this sentence.

Have you tried running the repair function on the launcher? Are you experiencing this problem on more than 1 server, or on more than 1 character? Thanks.

Erm what about the stars where it's timing out, surely that can't be good right?
Yes ran repair several times, deleted and readded firewall exception, flushed dns, repaired wireless connection, power cycled router etc etc.
Only happening on the ravager server by the looks of it as I've just logged into alt on the tomb of freedom nadd and everything is normal with a ping of 38ms.

Edit: was stable on freedom nadd for 5mins then latency starts jumping to 12k with red x of doom but then comes back to 4 bars and 38ms, somethings not right somewhere.

I'm not sure how related to this issue this is, but since this morning's patch. I've been having bandwidth issues. I am able to stream an HD movie on my ps3, listen to music at b@tv.com, which shows live concerts (so I'm able to watch video and listen to music) and play The Old Republic all at the same time. With very little, if any, lag or hangups. Since This morning's patch, I immediately noticed that when I was loading up my Old Republic game client, that browsing the internet, i.e. facebook, guild site and swtor.com, took up to 5 minutes for the page to load. I switched to the Old Republic game client and saw that I had a red X where my connection info would be in the bottom right corner. It didn't go to the loading screen like it has in the last few weeks. But I was unable to do anything in the game and I had to ctrl-alt-delete out and end process manually. I opened up my web browser again to look up some info about it. And it was working perfectly fine again. So I decided to test and see if the it was the Old Republic game causing the drain. I start the game client, I log into one of my characters. I see I immediately have the red X for connection info. I alt-tab out and try to go here so I can report my issue here. Once again, I was not able to get any webpage, even the pages that have been cached for a long while now, until I closed the Old Republic game client. I don't know exactly what's going on, but I do know that the game is being a very large bandwidth consumer. So much so, that it's not even allowing itself to run properly.

Aye that's happening to me mate, exact same. Something with the patch has borked something. Lets hope tomorrows emergency patch puts it back the way it was.

So it's got to the third page and in nearly five hours all I've got is...have you run the repair tool!!!!
Any other suggestions or should we just call it borked and hope tomorrows patch fixes it?!?!?!
