I'm in the very same boat, Wretches. I can't decide between the Guardian and the Gunslinger. Do you have any other factors you haven't taken into consideration that might tip the balance one way or another?

Do you roleplay? If so, which concept is more appealing?

Judging by the prologues you've played, which class story interests you most?

Have you played the three classes extensively? Which class did you honestly have the most fun playing?

If the aesthetics of the combat are important to you, which looked better?

Do you think the class population will balance out after everyone has lived out their Jedi fantasies? If not, will that be a significant detriment to your enjoyment of a Jedi class?

I'm really grasping for straws here, but is there a voice actor you prefer much more than the others?

Nope, doesn't bother me. I'm not fussed what classes others play as long as I'm enjoying mine.
Space, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space...

I don't know why people care about there being a lot of the class around... PLAY WHAT YOU WANT.

I went with an IA Operative, haven't played anything else yet. Won't know whats next till I get to the character screen. ^_^

I would want to play my Jedi first, but there are a ton of force users. It sucks joining a grp full of lightsaber users, or getting lost in the melee dog pile in warzones.

Scoundrel was meh, and I enjoy the Gunslinger, just feel like I would have more fun as a Guardian.

Madness.. I don't know what to do. Anyone else have this problem? Or the solution for it?
My biggest problem is the lack of Dual Spec and knowing that I cannot ever change my Advance Class.

It's slowing things down for me from that point of view, because I don't want to feel I am stuck at say level 25 and need to reroll.

Strangely, I don't have this problem in Wow or RIFT where you pick a class and then talent trees. The difference seems to be the Advance Class system which is what really determines how your character plays.

I want to be a tank. I can't decide between jedi guardian and vanguard trooper. It'd easily be vanguard trooper, but commando trooper.. those assault guns.. gatling lasers? Oh my. And explosives? OH MY.. And the way the classes work I think leveling 2 of the same class just for a different advanced class would be a bit meh.. since most of the skills are the same (from the main trooper class)
