Ok recently I have been thinking about maybe making some youtube videos of things in swtor well I have seen all kinds of videos of video games on youtube well I don't have a video camera or anything like that but when I see these videos on youtube they are so well fit to the screen that I think there just using a function from their computer so I am wondering is it possible to use my computer to film this I have an asus g74sx gaming laptop thank you.

Another option is Bandicam (bandicam.com) - the only minor gripe I had was that you have to run in windowed mode to record, but the flipside is you can resize the area of the screen that's being recorded (not sure if fraps has that or not).

Here's an example of a vid I just made with it if you're interested -
