Hey guys,

For some reason when I am playing TOR I can' talk to my friends in vent. It works fine when I'm alt tabbed. Currently the bind is set to the left control button. And I'm running windows 7.

Any advice?

Did you launch Ventrilo as administrator?

heard about this problem, but not about solution. Me Win7+ r. ctrl, everything ok. Try r. ctrl instead of left, may be...

me launch vent simply clicking on icon. w/o rmb->run as admin.

As the previous poster said, you will need to run Ventrilo as administrator even if your account is an administrator account. to do this, simply right click on your Ventrilo shortcut and choose run as administrator.

I've had this problem before, answer was to run Venty as admin. Worked like a dream after that

Like every other game from EA they require you to run as Administrator which in turn requires you to run any background program as the same to work.

Its stupid but so is EA

I don't have to run Mumble as administrator. It works just fine.

Shameless plug here, mumble is cheaper and much better quality too
