The game is crashing. It's crashing so fast in fact that Windows isn't picking up on it. Try playing KOTOR on Windows 7 64bit and you'll encounter the same vanishing process. The only thing you can do is try to make it report to you that the application has stopped working. (thus giving us more information to work with) Try enabling compatibility mode and starting the game.

I have tried compatibility mode.

Anyway, I can't post any logs because I've never gotten the game to start. Thus, there are no logs in the SWTOR folder.

Greetings Etot,

Do you have any software, other than your firewall and anti-virus software, running in the background? Particularly software like Peerblocker or FRAPS?

Nah. I'm thinking Event Viewer might be your best bet. Start > Run > eventvwr > Click Ok.

More indepth help here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../cc766401.aspx

You'll want to look under Windows Logs > Application. The errors will have white exclamation points with red circles around them. It'll be easy to spot if your computer runs smoothly otherwise.

I have Peerblock installed but not running on my computer when I try to start it up. The virus program I use is Malwarebytes if that gives any useful info.

I'm looking there and there are errors from 8 mins ago. How do I know if they are related to SWTOR?

Clicking on them and expanding them should lead to the .exe that caused them. If not click the Find button on the right hand side and type "swtor" (without quotes) into it and click Find Next.

What does it say under the general tab? There should be a short summary of the problem.
