I sincerely hope this is something that gets changed, I'm pretty sure the ball doesn't do any 'damage' so why should it flag someone for PvP. Frankly, they need to put in an option for completely opt out of PvP so that nothing can flag someone unintentionally, which would also mean someone who isn't flagged cannot buff/heal/attack someone who is. They still haven't done this? /facepalm I think you can no longer buff/heal a flagged player if you're not, but I don't believe they've fixed the other exploits that cropped up a few months ago.
