TheBBP
Does it now automatically direct you to the forums so that you can make an "I quit" post or is there still a spot where you can leave feedback as to why you are cancelling? I cancelled after the first month to keep my card from being billed because I switched to game cards. When I cancelled it afforded me an opportunity to tell them why I was leaving. Is that option still there? If so, why do so many who quit want the attention of the forums when they do so?

I agree, coming the the general forums to leave quitting threads is kinda silly because no one cares that some one is quitting, leave feed back where the dev's can collect your information, after they wade through hours of personal preferance stuff they may even find things thay can use to improve the game. what a concept../shrug
Lord_Ravenhurst
What, it´s not a quitting thread, it´s a payment related thread, therefore valid.. Your gametime always remains, even if you quit a day after subscribing. It´s like a prepaid one (or six) month gamecard. Posting is only possible during active gametime. I was unsubbed but entered my reserve 60 days gamecard to check out 1.2 improvements. Don´t think there is space for feedback when your gamecard runs out, because you don´t have to "cancel" anything, it simply runs out of time. vincent-
Being more constructive here. When one leaves either it's gracefully or not it's still important to inform the developers of the said reason. It's bad business not knowing what causes the bad things say people leaving for different reasons but if the loudest one is the most common one heard here. Well than they found the flaw in the design. "you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view." BUT you didn't take the time to read it If I agreed with 3/4 of your rant, I would unsub and walk away. Why on earth would I need to be in the forums of a game that I have no use for? The forums are actually running like 100-1 negative / positive posts... they just delete them constantly.
utio
You genuinely don't know the answer? I think you're intelligent enough to realise it's down to a number of things, each persons reason is personnal, but generally they are doing it for attention. I'm sure you knew that, so tell me, why make a thread about it? Hmmmmm, I wonder what the reason is. I know, I'll make a thread asking why. Rather than send a pm asking. Irishbrewed
I know ppl bag on ppl who quit then come to the forums. But I think there are some merit and reasons to complain. There are two types of gamers who do this IMO 1. Trolls who "want the game to fail"cause it didn't meet their expectations. & 2. People truly dissapointed and wanted the game to fulfill their mmo desire and simply are upset that it didn't, so express it here. Nothing wrong with the latter. Why people get mad at those folks(#2) is about as bad as the troll squeezing on the game IMO.
