Covenant of the Phoenix

Republic & Empire

Covenant of the Phoenix is a multi-gaming community that has been around since 1997, with chapters in; AC-DT, SWG, CoV, Guild Wars, EQ2, LotRo, AoC, Vanguard, WoW, DFO-NA, DFO-EU, RoM, EVE, Dawntide, Fallen Earth, Mortal Online, Final Fantasy XIV, Rift, Pathfinder Online, Star Citizen, Wurm and Rift.

Let's face it, mmorpgs come and go. When looking for a guild, you will want one that is willing to expand into other games and has a history of stable leadership. We are a mature and drama free gaming community. Our members are easy going and joke a lot in Mumble and on the forums.

A guild can make or break a person's experience in a MMO. Different guilds for different folks. The trick is finding one that will become more like a family than a guild and will last throughout the years.

The guild was founded on the principles of loyalty, honor, and brotherhood and thrives because online adventure games are more fun in the company of kindred spirits.

Our membership ranges in age from teens to the comfortably retired and geographically spans the globe (although most are adults residing in the North American continent). Most of us have jobs or college commitments and families, and therefore we support the premise that real life has priority over game life. So power gaming isn't required.

While we may be a multi-gaming guild, we have always taken strides to maintain that close knit family oriented feeling that is often only associated with smaller guilds.

I encourage anyone that is looking to join a mature gaming community to visit our site, in any case, it doesn't hurt to look. So, please feel free to visit us at: Covenant of the Phoenix

<Covenant of the Phoenix> is the Republic Guild and <Covenant of the Phoeníx> is the Imperial Guild. Don't see much difference, do you? That's because we are ONE GUILD !!

We just created an alt guild on the Empire side <Ascent of the Phoeníx> to handle the overflow of members with the recent Conquest push. Guess what the name of the Republic alt guild is....go on, guess. If you guessed <Ascent of the Phoenix> you'd be correct.

Whether you prefer Republic or Imperial play or if you enjoy the story lines and characters of both sides, this may be the guild for you. Check us out at http://www.cotp.info

GO FORTH AND HAVE FUN !!

A big, hearty CONGRATULATIONS to our Chapter of COVENANT OF THE PHOENIX !![

Covenant of the Phoenix is a very large guild community spanning not only the SWTOR game, but almost any other major game out there - over 25 different gaming communities. Come be a part of a winning guild chapter who is obviously active and growing to have earned this honor from among all the chapters in the COTP community.

In the COTP annual review it was announced that the SWTOR PVE chapter was the top chapter in the guild for the 3rd straight year. Thanks to all our officers and members for all you did to make this happen.

Congratulations to Sangrief, who won our end-of-month drawing for the Spaceball Lottery during our most recent Guild Night and nabbed a cool 1 million credit prize! Our Spaceball Lottery is hosted by one of our events officers, Cross X, who does a phenomenal job tracking ticket sales and randomizing the drawings to give every one of our participating members outstanding chances to win!

<Covenant of the Phoenix> events leaders focus on fun and engaging contests, games, and activities that leave our guild members laughing and playing at amusing adventures throughout the SWTOR universe. Everything from hide-and-seek, to races over planets and around the two Fleets, and over pipes and jump puzzles to get datacrons -- hey, we stay busy having fun!

<Covenant of the Phoenix> is running naked through the Esseles flashpoint this Monday, at 9pm EST, just for purest fun! Oh, and prizes to the winning four-man team who makes it through the flashpoint first! So NO armor, NO relics, NO implants, NO off-hand weapon, NO earpiece allowed! Only a single mainhand weapon, to be used to battle through all the mobs between our racers and the title of "fastest through", muahahaha!

Loads of pics will be captured, by the way!

<Covenant of the Phoenix> hosts various Guild Night events every Monday evening at 9pm EST. Fun events, laughter obviously encouraged -- races galore, prizes bandied out to everyone who participates and just and all-round good time to be had! If you're interested in learning more, message any member of the guild in-game for direction to an officer who can invite new recruits. And check out our forums, any time: http://www.covenantofthephoenix.com/forums/

Make sure to check out the video depicting our most recent kill of Malaphar the Savage in 16-man hard mode:

<Covenant of the Phoenix> has three separate raid teams -- one 16-man team on the Republic side of the game and one 8-man on Republic side and one 8-man on Imperial side. Our 16-man team runs Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our 8-man on Republic side runs Wednesday and Sundays, while our 8-man on the Empire side runs Saturdays and Sundays. We also encourage casual runs by and for our guild members, with distinct runs Wednesday and Friday nights.

One little bee blew and flew. He met a friend, and that made two.

Two little bees, busy as could be--Along came another and that made three.

Three little bees, wanted one more, Found one soon and that made four.

Four little bees, going to the hive, Spied their brother and that made five.

Five little bees working every hour--Buzz away, bees, and find another.

Would you like to join our "busy bees" in the guild who are doing Progression, Casual Runs, PvP, Conquest, and more ? Plus....we are participating in the Covenant of the Phoenix Founder's Day Event. We're more than a guild, we're a Hive of FUN !! Visit our website @ cotp.info or ask in game.

Let us take a moment from gaming to ponder this Easter Day for religious reasons. Whether or not you agree with the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Mother Earth worship of the fertility god Isthar, Passover for the Jews, or any other form of worship, take a moment to reflect and respect those who do.

Happy Easter to the gaming community.

<Covenant of the Phoenix> will be hosting a +10 Datacron Run on the Imperial Fleet this coming Monday, 20 April, with invites starting at 9pm EST. Once we have Sorcs in place for pulls up to the datacron, we'll open up invites to any interested non-guild members on Fleet. Usually takes us about 20 minutes to position our pullers.

Check out the following video for preview:

Only ensure that any character you bring has their Blue Crystal from the museum before you are pulled up to the datacron! If you're not sure how to get the Blue Crystal, watch the video! COTP will handle everything else.

Come join our guild and help us celebrate !! COTP is going to be hosting a guild-wide event to celebrate Star Wars Day, this May 4th, on the classic planet of Tattooine! And you are all invited! We will be waving at the balloon overhead, rolling for Raffle Prizes, and then finally racing over the Dune Sea entire! Door prizes for all who show up!

When: Monday, 4 May at 8:00pm EST, invites will begin at least 15 min prior.

Where: Characters in-game on the planet of Tattooine, nearby the Sarlacc Pit in the Dune Sea. And everyone should be in Mumble.

Who: Member characters from either the Empire or Republic side of the game. No real limit on character level, although characters below level 30 are advised to stay nearby the guild group to avoid aggro of nearby mobs. Summons will be available!

PVP is NOT encouraged during the party event – wait for the Speeder Race! Details for that are here http://www.covenantofthephoenix.com/forums/topic/44029-speeder-race-star-wars-day-may-4th/
